Bounty Hunters; Redux

Welcome everyone to Bounty Hunters: Redux!!

Today marks the beginning of a 10 day quest to hunt and capture the bounties set forth before you. Some of you will thrive and others will fall flat. All of you will hunt.

Collect (copy and paste) your fight links in a private message and at the end of each reset send them to me. 1 PM per person please. At the end of each round I will post the scores and reveal the next round of hunts.

Remember: Only one camp may be used for the entirety of the event so the first fight link i score will be considered your choice.

Round 1
Paparazzi

MMArmy is littered with famous people. Some walk around freely while others try to hide their identity by changing their looks. It will be your task to find these celebrities, and beat the snot out of them.

What to look for:
Any fighter with a famous preset first and last name. eg. Joe Lewis.

Any fighter with that is modeled after a celebrity. eg. Carlos Mencia

Only real people will be accepted. No cartoon characters, video game characters, or characters from movies or TV. They must be actual celebrities real names or likenesses.

Bonus: Nothing like beating a dead horse except maybe beating a dead celebrity. If you are morbid enough to find a celebrity no longer with us and decide to beat him up you can score +1 for that fight! (you must make note next to the fight link that you scored a bonus)

A fight will only be counted if both fighters have at least 5 fights or more.

Celebrity status will be determined by jbear and not every person submitted may be accepted.

Round 2
Grab the Goatee

To be a fighter takes a lot of hard work, training and preparation. To be the best means sacrifice. Many fighters give up their social lives, time with their families and have very little spare time in general. Some fighters are so busy they even forget to shave. It's these time crunched, hairy faced fighters fighters that you will be hunting for.

What to look for:
Any fighter who has any type of facial hair. Beards, goatees, muttenchops, mustaches etc.

Bonus: Any fighter with only a soulpatch. (the little patch of hair between your lip and chin). These douche bags will score you double!

A fight will only be counted if both fighters have at least 5 fights or more.

Make sure to note if your fight is a bonus fight when reporting.

Round 3
Football vs Futbol

This debate has gone on for generations with no signs of slowing. That is, until the Bounty Hunters came along. It will be your job to settle this once and for all.
Your opinions won't be enough however. You'll need support and so we will be visiting the judges table to get their thoughts.

What to look for:
Any fighter with American or United Kingdom nationalities.
A win alone won't count because we are trying to change minds, not cause brain damage. The fight must end in a decision to score.
A split decision against UK or USA born fighter will score 1 point.

Bonus: A unanimous decision against UK or USA born fighter scores a bonus point.

Remember finishes do not count.

If you would like to see Futbol win then fight and beat USA fighters.
If you would like to see Football win then fight and beat UK fighters.
Your final score will represent the side you want to win. If your side wins you will be awarded an additional 3 points.

An Honor to be Nominated

On a fighters 50th career fight, he is honored by receiving access to his awards page. It wouldn't seem right to send him to his awards ceremony without a couple of black eyes to commemorate the special event. Better yet, wouldn't it be fun to stop him from getting there altogether?

What to look for: Any fighter with more than 50 fights.

+1 Bonus: Knock a guy out or choke a guy unconscious for a bonus point.
TKO's will not be accepted. You can thank the ref for that. No armbars,heelhooks,kimuras etc. Must be unconscious.

+5 Bonus: Score 5 points for each fighter you beat who has exactly 49 fights in his career so that you are his 50th fight.

Round 5
Zombie Apocalypse
Braaaaaaaaaaaaaaains....
Braaaaaains...

Braaaaaaaains: Any fighter with 1.75 or less in all of the following 4 stats,
Speed Balance Footwork Focus.

More braaaaaains: If the fighter also has 2.25 or more of the following stats youll score 2pts.
Fortitude and Strength

BRAAAAAAAIIIINSSSS: If the fighter meets all of the above criteria AND you finish him by choke or knockout, you can score 10 points!! (tko's, armbars, kimuras, kneebars will NOT qualify)


I will be checking criteria on the reset AFTER this ends. If a fighter has trained and no longer qualifies for the bounty then the points for that bounty will NOT be counted.

2 Resets down and only a few people PM'd me any scores. Id like to keep updated per reset but I need you guys to hand in scores each reset to do so.

Otherwise I can just wait till each hunt is over and tally up then.

Hey Bear using Team Mexico 68 for this now. Retired El Club De Pelea.

Considering you've already scored with another team ill have to dismiss that score if you want to continue with another camp. Luckily it was only 1 point so it should be non issue.

Like i'm going for Futbol but all my guys are USA. Or do i have to have UK fighters?

Its not that complex.
Just beat a UK by decision if you want a point or beat a USA guy by decision if you want a point.
If you want 2 points make sure its a Unanimous decision.

So we will end on on the 'team' that we get the most points for? If I get 10 for USA and 15 for UK do my USA points count for the total USA # or just my UK points since thats the team im on?

Nope. Score all you want from either side. No restriction.

The extra bonus is a side thing. If you beat more US guys then you are on the UK side. If you beat more UK guys then you are on the US side.

The side who wins will get 3 extra points.

I have not posted the results of the side bonus for Futbol vs Football yet. I am waiting to see if any more scores come in first.

just an idea J, but as this is so much harder than the previous round, how about a 5 or 10 point per 50 fights opponent score?

for example finding a 49 fight fighter is like a needle in a haystack compared to finding a american/brit then hoping for a decision

Spidey, the 50 fights is for your opponents only. Unless half your camp is under 5 fights each you should be good.

Yeah I know,but my guys in low orgs wont see alot of 50+ fighters.

ive also had this problem. ive seen maybe 4-5 guys with 50+ fights i even had to buy out a bunch of contracts and move guys up to orgs that cant compete in just to find those guys. tough challenge

There should be a sub finish option for us non strikers.

There should be 7 million U.S. dollars in my bank account.

For equality I think it's fair. Bad enough I can't fight kickers for then end (my easiest kill) but now I have to try she win by tko when fs and ippon only have 1 tko a piece and they rarely happen when GNP guys have dozens

You're just gonna have to be creative.
I ran this criteria up the flagpole before the event started.
This round is the reason I put the whole event together in the first place and yesterday, I mentioned that regardless of the outcome or potential complaints, this one was staying as is.

well WTF im just getting reamed by these challenges. last challenge i spent tons of cash to buy out guys contract to move them up into higher orgs they couldnt compete in just to be able to find fighters with 50+. now you throw up a challenge taylor made for the orgs i just bought them out of, challenges should have been done the other way round IMO. now seeing as how i cant move them back down i dont see much point in trying finishing this out. gl fellas. congrats to the leaders some solid scores up there at the top.

oh shit forgot to say thanx to JB this was a fun event. this was my 1st time trying it out and it was pretty cool tbh. if time allows i will def join the next one. thnx again

Just waiting for a few final scores to come in and Ill update this once I can declare a top 3 officially.

Just waiting to hear from Spidey and Chief to make it official but otherwise scores are updated and we should have our Medalists!!
