Thx, fixed.
I'm gonna need some help with CD, as I can't think of any good single-style or near single-style guys for CD. LnP at least has a few, though, so I added that.

Only near single style CD I can think of is Danny Parker

Lately I've been thinking each style has 2 main skills, 1-2 secondary skills, and then 1-3 tertiary. I think reflex might be tertiary for FS. I'm not sold on it, but this is one of my going theories.

Post a link to a fighter you want included, MMA! I know you have tons of guys worthy of inclusion I just haven't had the time to look through them yet.
Guys, if I'm overlooking your fighters it's probably just because I don't know about them or forgot them, so post links! I made these lists quickly so they are far from comprehensive.

I see you used one of my guys(Lazaro Alencar) as an example for LnP. The funny thing is, I don't really feel like I ever figured out the LnP stats. I think I figured out the style advantages/disadvantages, but not the stats. He actually kind of sucked until I switched him to GnP, then he started kicking all kinds of ass.

Hi guys, I have a question. I'm very new but quickly getting the hang of things. I understand the styles but how do you chose the secondary style? Do you chose the closest style to the original? For example if you have a GNP do you pick LNP for the second (just an example).
I was also wondering if there is any control over the recruits?
Thanks for you help.
P.S. If this is in the wrong thread please feel free to delete and direct me to the proper thread. I'm also wondering if there is a proper list of directions to game play?
Thanks again.

Re: Style References - 02/03/09 06:39 PM
So I know with CS that power and reflex are very important but what about footwork and speed? Which should I be more concerned with training or does it matter?
Posted by: theganjaman
Re: Style References - 04/10/09 11:06 PM
I would be more concerned with training a striking attribute first if you goin for CS bra lol.
But seriously I don't know. At one time I thought I knew, but no longer!
cs = box, speed/reflex, footwork, power

What style utilizes Sambo the best? I thought it would be GnP or SiO but most of the fighters listed in that category don't have good Sambo.

http://mmarmy.com/fighter_stats.php?id=376749I don't know what style to use for him. I'm wondering if I should train him in wrestling and make him a grappler, or focus on his standup. Any help would be appreciated, I think he has a lot of potential.
Posted by: Littledawg27
Re: Style References - 05/08/09 07:17 PM
I'd train him more as a grappler. He has good sambo, wrestling, and jj, so I think power locks, pull guard, GnP, anyone of those could probably work.

Anyone want to update with the new styles? What in the world is Ippon? In fact what good would punches in bunches be? Not sure I understand half of the new styles. Greco good for sio but wrestling better for gnp? Seems like kickboxing is useless but must be good for something.....
Been around quite awhile and expected a change sooner or later. Not sure this vast array of styles, was the change I was expecting, time will tell if for the better. Look forward to learning though!

Ippon will be Judo related. It is a throw and in Judo finishes the fight.
Greco will most likely be for Dirty Boxing (See Randy Couture)
Kickboxing is I would go with Fast Feet for????

Re: Style References - 11/01/10 02:41 PM
I believe kickboxing goes with high kick.
I believe Ippon uses judo and balance as opposed to power like slam it out.

Need a little help.
I am revamping my Camp to a Punches in Bunches and I am leaning toward GNP.
For PIB I have Boxing, Speed, Footwork. I know generally there are 4 stats to use though. Anyone had any luck figuring out the other? Maybe Reflex???
Also has anyone figured out what a good switch is to go with PIB? Is GNP a good option for it or should I look at something else?

Re: Style References - 01/11/11 04:11 AM
Kind of an obvious question but I'll ask. If you have a certain equipment level say level 3 wrestling, then your guys won't train above level 3 on their skill set right?
Posted by: Matty
Re: Style References - 01/11/11 04:46 AM
your fighters can go over 3* with 3* equipment,it just takes longer

I wouldn't say GnP,
you need completely different stats for that
wrestling/brawling/power/strength

KB/Power/focus and if i would have to guess the last one it would be speed

Re: Style References - 10/15/14 08:05 AM
HKK works best with KB,Footwork, power, reflex, focus and if there is a 6th stat it's possibly speed.
All styles use 5 or 6 stats...every style
Except for mmartist which uses a real number greater than 7 according to my hero.
