Round 1
"le Vicomte de" is cornered by Smith who tries to press the action. "le Vicomte de" is able to block well and circles away from Smith, delivering a chopping leg kick and a grazing cross as he does so. Jack ducks under a loopy hoop, taking Degarmo to the mat, and his back. Nicolas carefully protects himself from Jacks strikes. Nicolas is able to make it back to the standing position. Nicolas connects with jab cross combination. Nicolas continually moves away from Smith, who stalks him patiently, occasionally landing a jab or cross. Degarmo parries a jab but leaves himself open for an uppercut. Round 1 is over.

Round 2
Nicolas tries to hyperextend the knee of Smith with a kick to the kneecap. Smith hops back to avoid it. Jack Smith slips a cross from Degarmo and lands jab cross to the body. Nicolas connects with a right that puts Smith off balance tumbling to the mat, as Nicolas towers over him. Degarmo lays into Jacks thighs and then backs off and tells him to stand up. Jack does so. Jack Smith is caught square on the jaw putting him to the canvas, "le Vicomte de" prepares to pounce, but Jack Smith gets his bearings just in time. Jack Smith thrusts his leg into Degarmos knee while grounded. "le Vicomte de" grabs a foot and kicks at Jack Smiths thighs. He then backs off and Jack Smith stands back up. Nicolas lands a double jab. Degarmo gets hit with a strong punch, putting him to the mat, but he recovers just in time to give up his back. The round comes to an end.

Round 3
Smith strikes with a straight front kick. Smith is on the receiving end of a good punching combination from Degarmo. Nicolas eats a stiff kick to the face. "le Vicomte de" circles Smith, mixing jabs and leg kicks. Degarmo shuffles away from Jack Smiths strikes and lands a powerful chopping kick to the lead leg. Smith backs away, obviously feeling the affects of the kick. Smith hits an uppercut to the head of Degarmo followed by a hard hook. Round 3 is over.

Round 4
Jack Smith lands a double jab. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Degarmo drops to a knee and attempts a takedown from the clinch. Jack sets a guillotine choke but Degarmo slips out at the last moment. Degarmo is now caught in guard. Nicolas backs out of the guard, and chooses to stand with his opponent, allowing him to his feet. Jack Smith dodges a jab and lands a kick to the face of Nicolas Degarmo. Jack slips a cross and lands a kick to the inside leg of Degarmo. Jack Smith snaps back the head of Nicolas with a stiff jab. The bell signals the end of round 4.

Round 5
Jack Smith connects with jab cross combination. Jack Smith pummels Degarmo with a series of rapid fire fists. Smith blocks a strong high kick from "le Vicomte de" and counters with a devastating left hook. Jack Smith parries Nicolass jab and lands a hook. Jack Smith counters a jab with a stiff uppercut. Smith connects with numerous jabs to the face of Degarmo. Degarmo connects with a strong body shot combo. Jack Smith throws a cross that easily dodged by Nicolas Degarmo. Nicolas Degarmo takes in a well composed combination of quick strikes from Jack. Nicolas is hit with a jab then hook to the body and stumbles backward. Jack explodes forward with a push kick that puts Nicolas on the canvas. The round comes to an end.
