Round 1 Checho Moreno lands a solid kick to the front leg of Dos Santos. Checho lands a strong outside leg kick that buckles Heinz Dos Santos. Checho throws a few jabs at "Da Sauce" that miss the mark. Checho Moreno chops away at the legs of "Da Sauce". Checho Moreno connects with a switch kick to the thigh. Heinz throws a cross that easily dodged by "El Ciclon". "Da Sauce" hits a hook to the body and follows with a power straight that misses. The bell signals the end of round 1.
Round 2 Checho Moreno fires a haymaker but misses spinning himself around. Heinz Dos Santos quickly takes his back. Heinz Dos Santos peppers shot to the head of Checho looking for an opening to apply a rear naked choke but Checho is hand playing well. Moreno starts to wiggle out of back control, Heinz Dos Santos lets him escape putting them both on their feet. Heinz shoots in for a takedown but the attempt is stuffed by Moreno. Heinz sneaks a foot behind Checho Morenos leg and takes him to the mat, landing in side control. Heinz slides his knee across the body of Moreno and takes full mount. "El Ciclon" attempts to buck Dos Santos off from mount but Dos Santos keeps his base and maintains position. "El Ciclon" gives his back up trying to escape the mount. The bell signals the end of round 2.
Round 3 Heinz ducks under a loopy hoop, taking Checho Moreno to the mat, and his back. Dos Santos lands a double punch to the head of "El Ciclon". Moreno starts to wiggle out of back control, Dos Santos lets him escape putting them both on their feet. A shot from Dos Santos is countered by a guillotine from Checho. Dos Santos follows through with a slam, landing in side mount, nullifying the choke. Heinz Dos Santos attempts an armbar, but Checho Moreno stops the attempt. Heinz Dos Santos uses the oppurtunity to take mount. "Da Sauce" maintains mount but laying some well timed strikes. Heinz Dos Santos executes a double hand slap to the ears of "El Ciclon". Round 3 comes to a close.
Round 4 Both fighters begin to exchange Heinz catches Checho Moreno with an eye poke. The referee calls time and lets Checho Moreno gather himself. Checho Moreno says he is ok and the fight continues. Dos Santos hits a lead uppercut and follows with a hard hook to the head of "El Ciclon". Heinz tries to hyperextend the knee of Checho with a kick to the kneecap. Checho hops back to avoid it. Checho attempts a lazy shot, which Heinz sprawls, eventually taking Checho back. Heinz Dos Santos slides off to the side of Moreno and lands several heavy knees into his ribs. Before he can lose the position, Heinz Dos Santos switches back to full back control. "Da Sauce" lays into "El Ciclon" with some strong shots forcing "El Ciclon" to give up mount position. The round comes to an end.
Round 5 A welt begins to form under "El Ciclons" eye after a strong cross-hook landed from Dos Santos. Dos Santos shoots in and executes a textbook single leg takedown, giving him side control. Heinz attempts to mount, but gets a few punches from Checho for his troubles. "Da Sauce" drops some good elbows to the face of "El Ciclon" forcing him to give up his back. "Da Sauce" lands a double punch to the head of Checho Moreno. Heinz slides to the side and spanks the butt of Checho in a sign of disrespect. The crowd laughs uncontrollably. Round 5 is finished.
