Round 1 Randy circles Rusty Nadeau, keeping him at bay with quick strikes. Randy connects with a hard punch making Rusty bring him in to a tight clinch. Rusty Nadeau receieves numerous knees to the thighs from Powell. A stiff elbow looks to have Rusty dazed. Rusty Nadeau escapes the clinch and creates some distance. "New Breed" hits a hook to the body and follows with a power straight that misses. A jab from Rusty Nadeau is blocked and a cross is returned by Randy. Powell connects with numerous jabs to the face of "Fish Hooks". The fighters circle one another hopping in and out trying to find their range. Round 1 is finished.
Round 2 Powell connects with a hard jab as Nadeau attempts a wide outside hook. Randy narrowly dodges a cross from Rusty, but falls catching him in his guard. "New Breed" begins to posture on his side. Nadeau lands a couple of outside hooks and "New Breed" returns to the guard. Rusty distracts Randy Powell with some peppering shots. Rusty then isolates a leg and falls back into a achilles lock. Randy Powell is able to force his way out of it but gives up half guard in the ensuing scramble. "Fish Hooks" attempts to sink a neck crank from half guard. It does not appear to be tight enough as Randy Powell gives a thumbs up to the referee until he finally struggles out. "Fish Hooks" slips out of half guard and into side control. Powell gives his back up in an attempt to get out of side control. Randy starts to wiggle out of back control, Rusty Nadeau lets him escape putting them both on their feet. "Fish Hooks" attempts a takedown but slips, and Randy Powell backs away. Randy Powell is standing over "Fish Hooks". The round comes to an end.

Nadeau executes a single leg giving him the back of "New Breed". Giving up his back, Randy Powell panics and gives up mount instead. Randy shifts his head and hips to keep Rusty Nadeau off balance and unable to land strikes. "New Breed" attempts to escape mount but has no luck. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
Round 4 Rusty connects with a strong body shot combo. "Fish Hooks" narrowly dodges a cross from Randy, but falls catching him in his guard. Randy Powell opens up the guard and rises back to his feet. Powell lays into "Fish Hookss" thighs and then backs off and tells him to stand up. Nadeau does so. Nadeau shoots in on "New Breed" but cannot finish the takedown. "New Breed" lands a couple of knees to the head, forcing Nadeau to roll to his guard. Nadeau stops defending intelligently during a series of heavy strikes. The ref stops the fight.
