Round 1
Lee lands multiple inside leg kicks that have Pedrosa circling away. Derrick throws a hard leg kick but is checked by Relson. "Scorpion King" hits a hook to the body and follows with a power straight that misses. Derrick parries Pedrosas jab and connect with a cross. Lee throws a kick to the midsection of Relson. The fighters circle each other. The bell signals the end of round 1.

Round 2
"Scorpion King" shuffles away from Derrick Lees strikes and lands a powerful chopping kick to the lead leg. Derrick backs away, obviously feeling the affects of the kick. Relson Pedrosa locks in a tight muay thai clinch and lands several knees to the ribs of Derrick Lee. A full foot sweep knocks Derrick Lee to the ground. "Scorpion King" grabs a foot and kicks at Lees thighs. He then backs off and Derrick Lee stands back up. Derrick is sent crashing to the mat by a powerful right hook. Relson chucks Lees legs to a side to attempt a soccer kick but misses and he elects to sprawl into side control. Relson Pedrosa throws his knee into the ribs of Lee. The bell signals the end of round 2.

Round 3
Lee connects with a leg kick then a hook to the side of the head. Pedrosa attempts a striking combination, but Lee forces the clinch. "Scorpion King" grabs the plum and lands a strong elbow that puts Lee on the floor. Relson Pedrosa lays into Derrick Lees thighs and then backs off and tells him to stand up. Derrick does so. "Scorpion King" connects with numerous jabs to the face of Lee. Derrick Lee connects with a series of punches forcing Relson Pedrosa into a clinch. Derrick Lee receieves numerous knees to the thighs from Relson. "Scorpion King" attempts a violent throw but Lee holds back and quickly pounces on his back. Round 3 is finished.

Round 4
"Scorpion King" hits a hook to the body and follows with a power straight that misses. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Lee works Relson Pedrosa into the cage from the clinch. Lee presses his head under Relsons chin so he cannot defend the piston shots from either side. "Scorpion King" lands a powerful uppercut in the clinch. Derrick Lee takes Relson Pedrosas back standing. "Scorpion King" isolates an arm to lock a spinning kimura but Derrick Lee lands a sharp shovel punch that forces "Scorpion King" to release. "Scorpion King" attempts a striking combination, but Derrick Lee forces the clinch. "Scorpion King" grabs the plum and lands a strong elbow that cuts Lee under the eye. Derrick Lee dodges an uppercut to the chin, though loses his balance and falls to the ground, with "Scorpion King" standing over him. Pedrosa lays into Derrick Lees thighs with some well timed kicks while Derrick Lee is grounded. Pedrosa dances around Derrick Lees legs and lands a powerful soccer kick to the head. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.

Round 5
Lee presses forward, grabbing the plum and lands a strong hook, buckling Relson Pedrosa to the mat. Lee stands back and waves Relson Pedrosa up. Both fighters begin to exchange Relson Pedrosa catches Lee with an eye poke. The referee calls time and lets Lee gather himself. Lee says he is ok and the fight continues. "Scorpion King" is sent crashing to the mat by a powerful right hook. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
