Round 1 Derrick is leading with his head during his combos and Brian makes him pay by landing a lead knee to the jaw. Derrick shakes it off as he steps back. Teng fakes a takedown attempt and clinches with Derrick Lee. Teng throws a short elbow at Derrick Lee. Lee is hit by successive knees on either side of his ribcage. Brian takes Derrick Lees back standing. Lee isolates an arm to lock a spinning kimura but Brian lands a sharp shovel punch that forces Lee to release. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Brian Teng throws a solid knee to the jaw of Derrick. A full foot sweep knocks Derrick Lee to the ground. Round 4 Lee circles away from Brian Teng, landing strong kicks to the lead leg. Derricks legs are wobbled by a strong hook to the temple then a shovel punch to the jaw. Brian parries a jab but is caught by a sweeping leg kick that sends him to the floor. Derrick Lee grabs a foot and kicks at Brian Tengs thighs. He then backs off and Teng stands back up. Derrick is hit with a jab then a hook to the body and stumbles backward. Teng tries to press the action but is met with a push kick from Derrick that puts him on the floor. Derrick crescent stomps the sternum of Brian Teng. Lee lays into Brian Tengs thighs and then backs off and tells him to stand up. Brian Teng does so. A welt begins to form under Tengs eye after a strong cross-hook landed from Derrick. Derrick Lee just misses with a head kick, grazing Brians skull. Round 4 comes to a close.
Round 5 A welt begins to form under Tengs eye after a strong cross-hook landed from Derrick. Derrick gets hit with a strong punch, putting him to the mat, but he recovers just in time to give up his back. Derrick carefully protects himself from Brians strikes. Derrick slips out the back leading to both fighters standing up. Lee strikes with a straight front kick. Derrick throws a few jabs at Teng that miss the mark. Derrick Lee strikes with a straight front kick. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
