Round 1 Heaney connects with a hard punch making "Bobby" bring him in to a tight clinch. An attempt at a clinch takedown from Heaney is defended well by "Bobby". Heaney grabs an overhook, steps to the side and lands an incredibly hard cross with his free hand that knocks "Bobby" the floor. Alex kicks at the legs of Rowe and then asks him to stand up. The referee tells Rowe to stand. Alex Heaney traps "Bobby" in the cage, landing a few strong punches to the face and body. "Bobby" eats a strong cross as Alex Heaney moves into the clinch. Heaney works to Rowes back while standing. Heaney throws a couple of outside shots until Bill Rowe is able to work his way back to the clinch. "Bobby" absorbs several body shots while being tied up. Round 2 Heaney throws a flurry connecting with the final punch. Bill Rowe is rocked and stumbles to the ground but quickly shakes it off. Bill Rowe attempts a striking combination, but Alex Heaney forces the clinch. Alex maintains his dominant position in the clinch, only opening for a stiff uppercut. Heaney places a few punches to the ribs while tied up. Heaney begins to thrust his shoulder in the face of Bill. Heaney attempts a violent throw but Rowe holds back and quickly pounces on his back. Rowe works a whizzer and attempts to turn Alex but Alex illegally grabs the cage for leverage. The referee sees it and breaks the clinch for a restart. Heaney slips a cross from Rowe and lands an uppercut to the liver. Heaney fakes a takedown attempt and clinches with Rowe. A stiff elbow looks to have Alex Heaney dazed. "Bobby" lands a powerful uppercut in the clinch. Alex pushes Bill Rowe into the cage. Bill Rowe works a whizzer and attempts to turn Alex but Alex illegally grabs the cage for leverage. Heaney is in the clinch with "Bobby", and changes levels for a beautiful double leg takedown. Bill is pummeled by some well timed bombs from Alex Heaney. Heaney uses strikes to open "Bobbys" guard. Heaney stands up and waves "Bobby" up. Bill Rowe circles Alex Heaney, landing jabs and crosses at will. Alex connects with a hard punch making Bill Rowe bring him in to a tight clinch. Two short elbows from the clinch put "Bobby" off balance. Alex Heaney holds him up, landing two more quick elbows. Alex works to Rowes back while standing. Alex throws a couple of outside shots until Bill is able to work his way back to the clinch. The round comes to an end.
