Round 1 Erasmus parries a jab but leaves himself open for a hard cross. "King Of The Ring" connects with a hard punch making Erasmus bring him in to a tight clinch. Ward attempts to grab the plum but Erasmus takes the opportunity to attain double underhooks and take down Ward. Fred Ward backs out of the guard after some unsuccessful motions and both fighters are standing. Fred Ward lands a strong outside leg kick that buckles "Promised Prince". Fred Ward then switch kicks "Promised Prince" on the opposing rib. Erasmus attempts to press in on "King Of The Ring" but is met with powerful inside-leg kicks. "Promised Prince" is hit with a cross and a liver shot and stumbles backward. Ward explodes forward with at superman punch that drops "Promised Prince" to the canvas. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
Round 2 "Promised Prince" parries a jab but is caught by a strong leg kick. "Promised Prince" eats a strong cross as Fred Ward moves into the clinch. "Promised Prince" drops to a knee and attempts a takedown from the clinch. Ward sets a guillotine choke but "Promised Prince" slips out at the last moment. "Promised Prince" is now caught in guard. Erasmus backs out of the guard, and chooses to stand with his opponent, allowing him to his feet. Danny attempts to press in on Fred but is met with powerful inside-leg kicks. Erasmus weaves through a jab-cross combo but is hit with a nasty hook. "King Of The Ring" sends "Promised Prince" to the mat with a well timed jab, falling into his guard. Round 2 is finished.
Round 3 Erasmus circles Ward, landing jabs at will. Danny Erasmus fires a haymaker but misses spinning himself around. "King Of The Ring" quickly takes his back. "Promised Prince" carefully protects himself from Fred Wards strikes. "Promised Prince" starts to wiggle out of back control, "King Of The Ring" lets him escape putting them both on their feet. Erasmus connects with a teep to the face of "King Of The Ring". Danny Erasmus throws a hard leg kick but is checked by Fred. "King Of The Ring" winds up a heavy straight but is countered by a hard counter knee to the body. The round comes to an end.
Round 4 "Promised Prince" lands a standing elbow. Ward grazes him with a jab-cross but "Promised Prince" counters with another elbow attack. Ward has a small gash under his eye. Danny connects with a hard punch making Fred bring him in to a tight clinch. Danny Erasmus drops down and thrusts forward with a textbook double leg takedown. "King Of The Ring" backs out of the guard after some unsuccessful motions and both fighters are standing. After dodging a jab, Fred lands a kick to the ribs of Erasmus who winces in pain. Fred blocks a hook cross combo but is pushed backward. Erasmus tries to press the action but is met with a hook, uppercut that keeps him at bay. "Promised Prince" lands a strong outside leg kick but is met with a counter hook from Fred that puts him on the floor. The bell signals the end of round 4.
Round 5 Both fighters begin to exchange "King Of The Ring" catches Danny with an eye poke. The referee calls time and lets Danny gather himself. Danny says he is ok and the fight continues. Fred Ward looks to press the action with a flurry of punches but Danny lands a strong lead-leg kick and circles away. Fred Ward lands a stiff jab and inside-leg kick. "Promised Prince" lands a strong outside leg kick that is returned by Fred. Fred dodges a jab-cross combo from Erasmus and connects with a front snap kick, sending Erasmus stumbling backwards. Danny parries Fred Wards jab and lands an uppercut. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. The round comes to an end.
