Round 1 Illia connects with a hard jab as Beau attempts a wide outside hook. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Beau Mitchell drops down and thrusts forward with a textbook double leg takedown. Mitchell takes a risk going for a leglock from being caught in Dovzhenkos guard. It doesn't pay off as Illia Dovzhenko makes his way to standing. Mitchell narrowly dodges a cross from Illia, but falls catching him in his guard. Beau Mitchell fires elbows off his back to the top of the head of Illia. Mitchell is hit with a series of powerful punches while utilizing the guard. Mitchell attempts an omoplata and almost has it sunk but Illia is able to survive any major damage. Mitchell cannot finish the hold and decides to stand up. Round 1 comes to a close.
Round 2 Beau narrowly dodges a cross from Dovzhenko, but falls catching him in his guard. Beau Mitchell starts to lock a triangle. Illia Dovzhenko postures up and starts to stand up. Beau Mitchell lands a stiff upkick, slumping Illia Dovzhenko back into his guard. Mitchell attempts a few a shots from the guard, but gets mounted for his troubles. Round 2 is over.
Round 3 Illia is staggered by a jab to the chin. Illia connects with numerous jabs to the face of Beau Mitchell. Illia connects with jab cross combination. Illia connects with a leg kick then a hook to the side of the head. Illia Dovzhenko connects with a right that puts Beau off balance tumbling to the mat, as Illia Dovzhenko towers over him. Round 3 comes to a close.
Round 4 Illia hits an uppercut to the head of Mitchell followed by a hard hook. A welt begins to form under Beaus eye after a strong cross-hook landed from Dovzhenko. Mitchell ducks under a loopy hoop, taking Dovzhenko to the mat, and his back. Mitchell peppers Dovzhenko with several shots to the face. Illia starts to wiggle out of back control, Beau Mitchell lets him escape putting them both on their feet. The fighters circle one another hopping in and out trying to find their range. Both fighters begin to exchange Mitchell catches Dovzhenko with an eye poke. The referee calls time and lets Dovzhenko gather himself. Dovzhenko says he is ok and the fight continues. Round 4 is over.
Round 5 Illia Dovzhenko peppers Beau with a flurry of punches that cannot be kept up with. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Beau drops to a knee and attempts a takedown from the clinch. Illia sets a guillotine choke but Beau slips out at the last moment. Beau is now caught in guard. Illia backs out of the guard after some unsuccessful motions and both fighters are standing. Illia blocks a strong high kick from Beau and counters with a devastating left hook. The fighters circle one another hopping in and out trying to find their range. Illia Dovzhenko unleashes a flurry of punches ending with Beau out cold from a right hook.
