Round 1 Jad Felipe circles Vasilescu, landing jabs at will. Felipe stuffs a shot from "The Pacifist " and hits him with a hard hook to the temple and pushes him to take his guard. Vasilescu is cut under his eye by a hard overhand from Felipe while utilizing the guard. Vasilescu is caught in a can opener and opens his guard. He lands two quick strikes but Jad Felipe transitions to half guard. Jad Felipe is able to slip into mount from the half guard. Doru Vasilescu gives his back up trying to escape the mount. "The Pacifist " starts to wiggle out of back control, Jad lets him escape putting them both on their feet. Doru Vasilescu hits an uppercut to the head of Felipe followed by a hard hook. Felipe ducks under a looping punch and lifts Vasilescu into the air. He uses all his force to drive his opponent into the mat. Felipe follows with some punches but the ref knocks him back as Vasilescu was out cold from the slam.
