Round 1 Doru parries a jab but is caught by a strong leg kick. Morgan presses forward, grabbing the plum and lands a strong hook, buckling Doru Vasilescu to the mat. Morgan follows him into the guard. Cliff drops some good punches while being caught in the guard. "Hanger" pushes down "The Pacifist s" leg, allowing him to pass guard into half guard. Vasilescu defends short shots well by turning his head. Cliff attempts to get a leg free to pass but Vasilescu has it locked down too well. Doru Vasilescu defends short shots well by turning his head. "Hanger" attempts to get a leg free and successfully moves into dominant side control. Cliff delivers knees to the body and sharp forearms to the head forcing Vasilescu to turn over. Cliff takes the back. Doru Vasilescu slips out the back leading to both fighters standing up. Morgan connects with a series of punches forcing "The Pacifist " into a clinch. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
Round 2 Vasilescu reaches down and trips Morgan with a beautiful ankle pick. Vasilescu dives into back control. Doru Vasilescu is working a furious pace on Cliff, intermingling strikes with positional dominance at will. Cliff Morgan starts to wiggle out of back control, Doru lets him escape putting them both on their feet. "The Pacifist " shoots in for a double leg, hoists Morgan up, and slams him viciously to the mat, taking side control. "Hanger" is wisely defending a kimura. Vasilescu attempts to take it but "Hanger" is having none of it, though Vasilescu has used the chance the slide into mount. Vasilescu secures his position. "Hanger" attempts to escape mount but has no luck. Round 2 is finished.
Round 3 Doru Vasilescu is caught square on the jaw putting him to the canvas, "Hanger" prepares to pounce, but Doru Vasilescu gets his bearings just in time. Cliff hovers over Doru pushing his legs to the side and throwing punches down at his body and head. Cliff waves for Doru to stand up. Doru attempts a takedown but slips, and Cliff Morgan backs away. Cliff Morgan is standing over Doru. Cliff grabs a foot and kicks at Vasilescus thighs. He then backs off and Doru stands back up. "Hanger" connects with a hard punch making Vasilescu bring him in to a tight clinch. The fighters jockey for position in the clinch. Vasilescu attempts a knee but is taken down by a basic trip. "Hanger" lands in half guard. Doru holds the head of Cliff Morgan close to avoid shots. Cliff Morgan slams shots to his opponents ribs and throws hard elbows to the thighs. Cliff slams his knee into Dorus ribs. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
Round 4 Cliff Morgan dodges a jab and lands a kick to the face of Vasilescu. Morgan lands a double jab. Cliff is staggered by a jab to the chin. Morgan fires a haymaker but misses spinning himself around. Vasilescu quickly takes his back. Cliff carefully protects himself from Vasilescus strikes. Giving up his back, "Hanger" panics and gives up mount instead. The bell signals the end of round 4.
Round 5 Cliff Morgan narrowly dodges a cross from "The Pacifist ", but falls catching him in his guard. Vasilescu frees a leg and moves into half guard. Morgan defends short shots well by turning his head. Doru attempts to get a leg free to pass but Morgan has it locked down too well. Doru Vasilescu presses his foot onto the thigh of Cliff Morgan to get his own foot free. He successfully releases his leg and moves to side control. "Hanger" takes a few knees to the body while under Dorus side control. Morgan tries to get back to full guard, but has to settle with half guard. Cliff Morgan tries to scramble out of half guard, but "The Pacifist " takes his back during it. "Hanger" tries to stand up but Doru Vasilescu plants him back down with several strikes. Doru Vasilescu slides off to the side of Morgan and lands several heavy knees into his ribs. Before he can lose the position, Doru Vasilescu switches back to full back control. The bell signals the end of round 5.
