Round 1
After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Francis receieves numerous knees to the thighs from Garret Hardy. Everett takes the back of Hardy who works for a kimura. Everett pulls his arm out of the hold and push Hardy away. A welt begins to form under Everett Franciss eye after a strong cross-hook landed from Garret. Everett Francis connects with a combination and backs away from the counter combo of Hardy. Garret is staggered by a jab to the chin. Francis attempts a takedown, but Hardy clumsily falls down without much provocation. Everett Francis stands over Garret, works his way through his open guard and lands some solid standing punches. Garret cannot trap him in his guard and pushes him away instead. The bell signals the end of round 1.

Round 2
A lazy leg kick from Hardy is caught by Everett Francis who lands a huge overhand right, flooring Hardy. Francis stands over Garret, works his way through his open guard and lands some solid standing punches. Garret is able to grab an arm and pull Francis into his guard. Francis pulls out of the guard of Garret, stands up, feels it out, and drops a huge right hand to the jaw of Garret. Everett Francis drops a few strong punches, opening up Garrets guard, giving him a chance to pass to mount. Garret attempts to buck Everett off from mount but Everett keeps his base and maintains position. Garret Hardy gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Garret Hardy eats a few stiff shots from Everett Francis, and rolls giving mount to stop the ref from ending the fight. Everett Francis maintains mount but laying some well timed strikes. The round comes to an end.

Round 3
Garret connects with a leg kick then a hook to the side of the head. Garret is hit with a jab and taken down with a strong trip takedown. Everett Francis is able to push to half guard.Round 3 comes to a close.

Round 4
Everett hits a lead uppercut and follows with a hard hook to the head of Hardy. Both fighters trade glancing shots continuing to find their respective range. Hardy connects with numerous jabs to the face of Everett Francis. The fighters circle one another hopping in and out trying to find their range. Francis tries to find his distance but Garret is able to land two looping hooks that stun Francis, who warily backs away. The bell signals the end of round 4.

Round 5
Francis circles Hardy, landing jabs and crosses at will. Everett parries Garret Hardys jab and connect with a cross. Hardy lands a lunging, looping hook to Franciss temple. Everett takes a heavy kick to the arm attempting to block his head. Everett Francis connects with numerous jabs to the face of Garret Hardy. Francis connects with a hard combination sending Garret to the ground. Francis follows him down into his guard and continues raining punches to the head. Garret taps out from the beating.
