Round 1 Tiago Gonzalez connects with numerous jabs to the face of Salemi. Zayar Salemi attempts a striking combination, but "Thailand" forces the clinch. A strong elbow forces "Grand" to lose his balance and fall to the floor. Tiago Gonzalez kicks at the legs of Salemi and then asks him to stand up. The referee tells Salemi to stand. Tiago connects with a right that puts Zayar Salemi off balance tumbling to the mat, as Tiago towers over him. Tiago chucks Zayars legs to a side to attempt a soccer kick but misses and he elects to sprawl into side control. "Thailand" slides his knee across the body of "Grand" and takes full mount. Round 2 "Thailand" tries to hyperextend the knee of Salemi with a kick to the kneecap. Salemi hops back to avoid it. Tiago Gonzalez fakes a takedown attempt and clinches with Zayar Salemi. "Grand" drops to a knee and attempts a takedown from the clinch. "Thailand" sets a guillotine choke but "Grand" slips out at the last moment. "Grand" is now caught in guard. "Thailand" backs out of the guard after some unsuccessful motions and both fighters are standing. Tiago fakes a takedown attempt and clinches with Zayar Salemi. A strong elbow forces "Grand" to lose his balance and fall to the floor. Gonzalez kicks at the legs of Zayar and then asks him to stand up. The referee tells Zayar to stand. Round 2 is over.
Round 3 Zayar dodges a jab and lands a kick to the face of Gonzalez. "Thailand" connects with a hard punch making Zayar bring him in to a tight clinch. A strong elbow forces Zayar to lose his balance and fall to the floor. Gonzalez throws a short kick to the downed Zayar Salemi. Zayar Salemi takes the chance to rise back to his feet. Salemi throws a kick to the midsection that is caught by Tiago Gonzalez. Tiago Gonzalez lands a sweeping leg kick that puts Salemi on his back. Tiago Gonzalez chucks Salemis legs to a side to attempt a soccer kick but misses and he elects to sprawl into side control. Round 4 Zayar circles Tiago, mixing jabs with body shots. Tiago narrowly dodges a cross from Salemi, but falls catching him in his guard. Zayar pulls out of the guard of Gonzalez, stands up, feels it out, and drops a huge right hand to the jaw of Gonzalez. Salemi defends a triangle attempt, throwing Tiago Gonzalezs straight leg over his head and makes a move for side control. Tiago Gonzalez is able to hold him to half guard. Salemi slams his knee into "Thailands" ribs. "Grand" presses his foot onto the thigh of Tiago Gonzalez to get his own foot free. He successfully releases his leg and moves to side control. Zayar delivers knees to the body and sharp forearms to the head forcing Gonzalez to turn over. Zayar takes the back. Tiago starts to wiggle out of back control, "Grand" lets him escape putting them both on their feet. Zayar Salemi circles Gonzalez, mixing jabs with body shots. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
Round 5 Tiago winds up a heavy straight but is countered by a hard counter knee to the body. Salemi presses forward, grabbing the plum and lands a strong hook, buckling Tiago Gonzalez to the mat. Salemi follows him into the guard. Zayar pulls out of the guard of Tiago, stands up, feels it out, and drops a huge right hand to the jaw of Tiago. Salemi pushes down Tiago Gonzalezs leg, allowing him to pass guard into half guard. Salemi slams his knee into Gonzalezs ribs. Zayar slips out of half guard and into side control. "Thailand" gives his back up in an attempt to get out of side control. "Thailand" starts to wiggle out of back control, Zayar Salemi lets him escape putting them both on their feet. "Thailand" is hit with a jab then hook to the body and stumbles backward. Zayar explodes forward with a push kick that puts "Thailand" on the canvas. Round 5 is finished.
