Round 1 Nobu plows through Tremblay with a driving double leg takedown. Nobu Kogo drops a few strong punches, opening up Austins guard, giving him a chance to pass to mount. Austin gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Tremblay starts to wiggle out of back control, Nobu Kogo lets him escape putting them both on their feet. Nobu shoots a takedown from a distance putting Austin on the ground. Nobu distracts Tremblay with peppering shots. Nobu then isolates a leg and sinks a achilles lock. Tremblay is able to force his way out but gives up mount in the ensuing scramble. Tremblay gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Nobu Kogo peppers Austin with several shots to the face. Tremblay slips out the back leading to both fighters standing up.Round 1 comes to a close.
Round 2 Kogo fakes a takedown attempt and clinches with Tremblay. Tremblay works the clinch to his advantage, carefully connecting with precise strikes. Austin attempts a takedown from the clinch, but "Sengoku Power" pulls a switch on him, ultimately leading to both fighters on their feet. Nobu connects with a right that puts Tremblay off balance tumbling to the mat, as Nobu towers over him. "Sengoku Power" stands over Austin Tremblay, works his way through his open guard and lands some solid standing punches. Austin Tremblay is able to grab an arm and pull "Sengoku Power" into his guard. Kogo sits up in Austins open guard and spins to an leg lock. Tremblay is able to gator-roll out of it and make it to standing. "Sengoku Power" stuffs a shot from Tremblay and hits him with a hard hook to the temple and pushes him to take his guard. Austin Tremblay is pummeled by some well timed bombs from "Sengoku Power". Kogo takes advantage of a mental laps from Austin Tremblay and moves into full mount. The round comes to an end.
Round 3 Austin winds up a heavy straight but is countered by a hard counter knee to the body. "Sengoku Power" is cut open by a standing elbow strike. The ref stops the fight. The doctor take a look at the cut and determines "Sengoku Power" can continue. The fighters circle one another hopping in and out trying to find their range. Austin Tremblay fakes a takedown attempt and clinches with Kogo. Austin lands a powerful uppercut in the clinch. Austin connects with a stiff knee to the chin. Nobu Kogo is dazed on the mat. Austin drops a powerful fist onto Kogo. "Sengoku Powers" eyes roll back into his head, and this fight is over.
