Round 1
Douglas takes down "The Boss", but remains standing over him. Bert attempts to drop a fist on "The Boss", but misses and lands in his guard. Ross is hit with a series of powerful punches while utilizing the guard. Bert takes advantage of a mental laps from "The Boss" and moves into full mount. Bert Douglas maintains mount but laying some well timed strikes. Douglas telegraphs his motions for an armbar, but "The Boss" gives up his back to stop the attempt. Douglas lands a series of heavy punches forcing Ross to roll to his back, giving Douglas mount. Ross shifts his head and hips to keep Bert off balance and unable to land strikes. The round comes to an end.

Round 2
A trip to the ground allows Douglas to move into the guard of Hank Ross. Bert distracts Ross with peppering shots. Bert then isolates a leg and sinks a achilles lock. Ross is able to force his way out but gives up mount in the ensuing scramble. Hank gives his back up trying to escape the mount. "The Boss" starts to wiggle out of back control, Bert lets him escape putting them both on their feet. "The Boss" is hit with a jab and then taken down with a strong trip takedown. Douglas takes advantage of a mental laps from Ross and moves into full mount. Ross gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Hank carefully protects himself from Berts strikes. Bert Douglas works his arm around the neck of Ross attempting to get a tight rear naked choke but Ross hand fights well. Ross spins through into the guard of Bert Douglas. Round 2 is finished.

Round 3
Bert Douglas throws a cross that easily dodged by Hank Ross. Hank Ross narrowly dodges a cross from Douglas, but falls catching him in his guard. Hank lands a stiff elbow while on his back. "The Boss" attempts to lock in an armbar from the guard. Bert narrowly avoids it, but allows for "The Boss" to take mount. Douglas shifts his head and hips to keep Hank off balance and unable to land strikes. Bert Douglas bucks off Hank Ross and sweeps him over to his back getting into his half guard.Round 3 comes to a close.

Round 4
Bert connects with numerous jabs to the face of Ross. Ross stuffs a takedown but is backed into a corner and must slide into guard to avoid being picked up. "The Boss" is pummeled by some well timed bombs from Bert Douglas. Ross is caught off guard by a kneebar attempt from Douglas. Ross struggles out of the lock and attempts to scramble. Douglas is too quick and lunges forward to take half guard. "The Boss" holds the head of Bert close to avoid shots. Bert slams shots to his opponents ribs and throws hard elbows to the thighs. Bert presses his foot onto the thigh of Hank to get his own foot free. He successfully releases his leg and moves to side control. "The Boss" gives his back up in an attempt to get out of side control. "The Boss" starts to wiggle out of back control, Bert lets him escape putting them both on their feet. Douglas is hit with a jab but is able to slip a cross and grab a arm-triangle in standing. Douglas trips Hank to the floor, landing in side control. Round 4 comes to a close.

Round 5
Bert Douglas connects with a hard punch making Ross bring him in to a tight clinch. The fighters jockey for position in the clinch. Bert Douglas dodges an uppercut to the chin, though loses his balance and falls to the ground, with Hank Ross standing over him. "The Boss" attempts to drop a fist on Douglas, but misses and lands in his guard. Hank tries to pass guard but Douglas stops him with a well timed punch. Bert fires elbows off his back to the top of the head of Hank Ross. "The Boss" tries to move to half guard but Bert Douglas uses the opportunity to land several strikes and return to full guard. "The Boss" attempts a combination of strikes but Bert catches a punch and moves for an armbar. "The Boss" defends but Bert sets a short armbar. "The Boss" is forced to tap.

Bert Douglas wins by Submission (Short Armbar)
