Round 1 "The King of the Ring" hits a lead uppercut and follows with a hard hook to the head of Couture. Emanuel Ahrens connects with a strong right hook. Round 2 Emanuel lands a hook to the body. Emanuel gets hit with a strong punch, putting him to the mat, but he recovers just in time to give up his back. "The King of the Ring" carefully protects himself from Coutures strikes. Ahrens is able to make it back to the standing position. The fighters circle one another hopping in and out trying to find their range. Bradley Couture ducks and weaves through a jab-cross combo but is hit with a nasty uppercut. Bradley tries to press the action but is met with a hook, uppercut that keeps him at bay. Bradley Couture throws a hard jab but "The King of the Ring" throws a cross right over the top rocking Bradley Couture. Ahrens throws a teep backing Bradley off. Round 3 is finished.
Round 4 Both fighters trade shots and back away looking for the next opening. Couture connects with a hard punch making Ahrens bring him in to a tight clinch. Ahrens drops to a knee and attempts a takedown from the clinch. Bradley sets a guillotine choke but Ahrens slips out at the last moment. Ahrens is now caught in guard. Bradley attempts a switch from the guard, but a scramble takes place getting both fighters to their feet. Emanuel Ahrens throws a powerful left hook, but is met with a strong jab from Couture. A jab-hook-uppercut combo has Emanuel stepping back and shaking the cobwebs out. Bradley circles Emanuel Ahrens, keeping him at bay with quick strikes. Round 4 comes to a close.

"The King of the Ring" dodges a jab and clinches with Bradley Couture, delivering a knee as he does so. Couture is staggered by a jab to the chin. Ahrens is staggered by a jab to the chin. Emanuel throws an axe kick that misses the target. "The King of the Ring" hits a lead uppercut and follows with a hard hook to the head of Bradley. Couture snaps back the head of Emanuel with a stiff jab. Bradley eats a jab,jab, then a hook from Ahrens. Couture unleashes several furious punches at "The King of the Ring".
