Round 1 Fukao is staggered by a jab to the chin. Ray Rogers connects with jab cross combination. Ray executes a single leg giving him the back of Fukao. Ray slides to the side and spanks the butt of Tatsuo in a sign of disrespect. The crowd laughs uncontrollably. Tatsuo starts to wiggle out of back control, Ray lets him escape putting them both on their feet. Rogers connects with a combination and backs away from the counter combo of Tatsuo Fukao. Rogers connects with a leg kick then a hook to the side of the head. The round comes to an end.
Round 2 Rogers connects with a leg kick then a hook to the side of the head. A trip to the ground allows Tatsuo Fukao to move into the guard of Ray. Rogers throws a couple of chop shots but Tatsuo returns with vicious ground and pound. Tatsuo forces Rogerss leg down, giving him the chance to pass into side control. Tatsuo Fukao slides his knee across the body of Rogers and takes full mount. Fukao executes a double hand slap to the ears of Ray. Tatsuo lands a double punch to the head of Ray. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
Round 3 The fighters circle each other. Ray connects with a strong body shot combo. Rogers winds up a heavy straight but is countered by a hard counter knee to the body. Tatsuo ducks and weaves through a quick combo from Ray and knocks him back with a shovel punch to the jaw. Fukao ducks and weaves through a quick combo from Rogers and knocks him back with a shovel punch to the jaw. A double-leg shot is stuffed initially by Rogers but Tatsuo Fukao is able to muscle through for a takedown, finishing in half guard. The bell signals the end of round 3.
Round 4 Ray connects with a jab cross combination. Both fighters trade shots and back away looking for the next opening. Tatsuo ducks under a loopy hoop, taking Rogers to the mat, and his back. Giving up his back, Ray Rogers panics and gives up mount instead. Ray Rogers shifts his head and hips to keep Tatsuo Fukao off balance and unable to land strikes. Tatsuo postures up and begins to fire off rapid shots from mount but Ray tripods up and sweeps him over to his back. Ray quickly gets himself to mount. Round 4 is over.
Round 5 Fukao fakes a takedown attempt and clinches with Ray. Tatsuo Fukao works Ray into the cage from the clinch. Tatsuo Fukao presses his head under Rays chin so he cannot defend the piston shots from either side. Tatsuo Fukao takes the back of Ray who works for a kimura. Tatsuo Fukao pulls his arm out of the hold and push Ray away. Tatsuo Fukao connects with a right that puts Rogers off balance tumbling to the mat, as Tatsuo Fukao towers over him. Fukao stands over Ray Rogers, works his way through his open guard and lands some solid standing punches. Ray Rogers is able to grab an arm and pull Fukao into his guard. Fukao takes a risk going for a leglock from being caught in Rays guard. It doesn't pay off as Rogers makes his way to standing. A shot is side stepped by Rogers but quick reflexes and footwork lead to a second attempt that takes down Rogers. Tatsuo Fukao settles into his guard. Ray Rogers is cut under his eye by a hard overhand from Fukao while utilizing the guard. Fukao pushes down Rays leg, allowing him to pass guard into half guard. The bell signals the end of round 5.
