Morgan McDonald throws a cross that easily dodged by Michio Uesugi. Uesugi fakes a takedown attempt and clinches with McDonald. Uesugi attempts a takedown from the clinch, but McDonald pulls a switch on him, ultimately leading to both fighters on their feet. Michio Uesugi stuffs a shot from Morgan McDonald and hits him with an outside body shot. Morgan McDonald gives up on the takedown and pulls guard. Michio Uesugi sits up in McDonalds open guard and spins to an leg lock. Morgan McDonald is able to gator-roll out of it and make it to standing. Michio narrowly dodges a cross from Morgan, but falls catching him in his guard. Uesugi sets in an omaplata, forcing Morgan to roll through, giving Uesugi side control. Michio lands a few stiff elbows from side control. A series of strong hammerfists forces Morgan McDonald to try and roll toward Michio Uesugi. Michio Uesugi lands a devastating shovel punch that roll Morgan McDonald to his back. Michio Uesugi scrambles to his back. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
Round 2 Morgan eats a jab,jab, then a hook from Michio Uesugi. Uesugi snaps back the head of "Mean DBAer" with a stiff jab. McDonald takes a heavy kick to the arm attempting to block his head. Round 3 "Mean DBAer" narrowly dodges a cross from Michio, but falls catching him in his guard. Michio Uesugi drops some good punches while being caught in the guard. Round 4 Morgan loses his balance from a well timed strike, and is awkwardly taken down by Michio for the mistake. Michio has side control. Michio slides his knee across the body of McDonald and takes full mount. Michio secures his position. Morgan gets pummeled by the fists of Michio Uesugi. Morgan gives up his back in an attempt to escape, but doesn't quite make it. "Mean DBAer" carefully protects himself from Michios strikes. McDonald is able to make it back to the standing position. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
Round 5 The fighters circle each other. Uesugi shoots a takedown from a distance putting McDonald on the ground. Uesugi drops some good punches while being caught in the guard. Morgan McDonald gives up guard avoiding a powerful hammer fist. He now has half guard. Michio Uesugi tries to pull his leg out of half guard, but no luck.
