Round 1 Alex MacCormack connects with a hard jab as Hoffman attempts a wide outside hook. Both fighters begin to exchange "useless jj trainer" catches Benjamin with an eye poke. The referee calls time and lets Benjamin gather himself. Benjamin says he is ok and the fight continues. Alex MacCormack throws a wild punch, putting him off balance. A few well timed strikes from Benjamin puts Alex MacCormack on the mat giving his back up. Giving up his back, MacCormack panics and gives up mount instead. Alex shifts his head and hips to keep Benjamin off balance and unable to land strikes. "useless jj trainer" is hit with multiple punches, and taps out.
