Round 1 Maurice is cut open by a standing elbow strike. The ref stops the fight. The doctor take a look at the cut and determines Maurice can continue. As "Bubbles" presses forward Stevenson throws a wild spinning backfist. "Bubbles" leans away from the strike and lands a couple of strong punches that staggers Stevenson. Round 1 is finished.
Round 2 Stevenson plows through James Jodoin with a driving double leg takedown. Maurice Stevenson drops some good punches while being caught in the guard. James attempts a sloppy triangle attempt allowing Maurice the chance to pass to side control. "Bubbles" takes a few knees to the body while under Stevensons side control. Stevenson slides his knee across the body of "Bubbles" and takes full mount. James attempts to buck Maurice Stevenson off from mount but Maurice Stevenson keeps his base and maintains position. Maurice lands a double punch to the head of James Jodoin. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
Round 3 Maurice lands a strong outside leg kick but is hit with a strong uppercut. Stevenson dives in for a takedown but the momentum of the attempt ends in a scramble back to their feet. James Jodoin connects with a hard punch making Stevenson bring him in to a tight clinch. Jodoin fakes a shot attempt from the clinch, opening Maurice Stevenson up for a flurry of hooks. Stevenson attempts a takedown but slips, and James Jodoin backs away. James Jodoin is standing over Stevenson. Jodoin pounces on Maurice Stevenson, but is met with a powerful upkick. Jodoin manages to land into side control though.Round 3 comes to a close.
Round 4 Stevenson attempts to clinch, but James connects with an uppercut to the jaw. James gets hit with a strong punch, putting him to the mat, but he recovers just in time to give up his back. Jodoin carefully protects himself from Maurices strikes. James slips out the back leading to both fighters standing up. James tries to hyperextend the knee of Maurice with a kick to the kneecap. Maurice hops back to avoid it. Jodoin circles Maurice, keeping him at bay with quick strikes. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
Round 5 Maurice Stevenson throws a cross that easily dodged by James Jodoin. Maurice Stevenson lands a double jab. Stevenson keeps James at a distance with some well timed jabs. Stevenson ducks under a loopy hoop, taking James to the mat, and his back. James Jodoin carefully protects himself from Stevensons strikes. Maurice begins to look for a rear naked choke, but James Jodoin rolls to being mounted instead. The round comes to an end.
