Round 1 Both fighters trade glancing shots continuing to find their respective range. Nao circles Vico Padilla, mixing jabs and leg kicks. "Nightfall" hits a lead uppercut and follows with a hard hook to the head of Vico Padilla. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
Round 2 Vico feints a takedown attempt and connects with a left hook dropping Nao. Vico dives into guard. Nao is caught in a can opener and opens his guard. He lands two quick strikes but "El Ladron" transitions to half guard. Vico is able to slip into mount from the half guard. "Nightfall" attempts to escape mount but has no luck. Nao gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Vico slides to the side and spanks the butt of Nao Nakao in a sign of disrespect. The crowd laughs uncontrollably. "El Ladron" lays into Nao Nakao with some strong shots forcing Nao Nakao to give up mount position. Round 2 comes to a close.
Round 3 Padilla connects with a hard punch making Nakao bring him in to a tight clinch. Nakao lands a powerful uppercut in the clinch. "El Ladron" escapes the clinch and creates some distance. "Nightfall" connects with numerous jabs to the face of "El Ladron". Vico dives in for a takedown but the momentum of the attempt ends in a scramble back to their feet. Nakao connects with numerous jabs to the face of Vico. Nao Nakao attempts a takedown, but Padilla clumsily falls down without much provocation. Nakao drops a huge strike to Padillas chin, landing into his guard. The bell signals the end of round 3.
Round 4 Nao locks around the waist of Vico Padilla. He sneaks his foot behind "El Ladrons" and trips him to the floor, taking side control. Nakao slides his knee across the body of Padilla and takes full mount. Padilla attempts to escape mount but has no luck. Vico gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Nao peppers shot to the head of Vico looking for an opening to apply a rear naked choke but Vico is hand playing well. Nao lands a series of heavy punches forcing "El Ladron" to roll to his back, giving Nao mount. Round 4 is over.
Round 5 Both fighters trade shots and back away looking for the next opening. Padilla narrowly dodges a cross from Nakao, but falls catching him in his guard. Vico attempts an armbar. Nao Nakao time a spin perfectly landing a strong overhand as he works his way into "El Ladrons" guard. Nakao eats a stiff punch to the face, and is then swithced, giving "El Ladron" full mount. Nao pulls Vico close to avoid a flurry of strikes. Vico Padilla is pulled in tight, and then switched over on his back. "Nightfall" is now caught in Padillas guard. The bell signals the end of round 5.
