Round 1 An outside leg trip puts Jon Rogers into side control. Jon Rogers slides his knee across the body of Leo Rowly and takes full mount. Rowly attempts to escape mount but has no luck. Rowly gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Jon tries to set in a rear naked choke, but can't quite finish it. Rogers begins to look for a rear naked choke, but Rowly rolls to being mounted instead. The round comes to an end.
Round 2 A welt begins to form under Leos eye after a strong cross-hook landed from Rogers. Rogers connects with a series of punches forcing Leo into a clinch. Jon Rogers works the clinch to his advantage, carefully connecting with precise strikes. The fighters jockey for position in the clinch. Leo Rowly attempts a takedown from the clinch, but Jon pulls a switch on him, ultimately leading to both fighters on their feet. Rowly connects with a strong body shot combo. Jon is struck by a ball kick from Rowly that causes him to stumble backwards. A shot from Rogers is countered by a guillotine from Leo. Rogers follows through with a slam that stuns Leo. Rogers moves to mount. Round 2 comes to a close.
Round 3 After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Leo works the clinch to his advantage, carefully connecting with precise strikes. Jon escapes the clinch and creates some distance. Jon connects with a hard jab as Rowly attempts a wide outside hook. Leo snaps back the head of Jon with a stiff jab. Rogers connects with a jab cross combination. Rowly lands a looping hook to Jons temple, backing him off. Rowly follows with a lead-leg kick that buckles Jon Rogers the ground. Rowly lays into Rogerss thighs and then backs off and tells him to stand up. Jon Rogers does so. The bell signals the end of round 3.
Round 4 Both fighters trade glancing shots continuing to find their respective range. Jon Rogers connects with a combination and backs away from the counter combo of Leo. Leo Rowly winds up a heavy straight but is countered by a hard counter knee to the body. Jon Rogers is rocked by a standing elbow strike. Leo connects with jab cross combination. Rogers stuffs a shot from Leo and lands some powerful outside hammerfists, eventually taking side mount. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
Round 5 Jon Rogers circles Leo Rowly, mixing jabs with body shots. Jon Rogers parries Rowlys jab and connect with a cross. Leo Rowly throws a wild punch, putting him off balance. A few well timed strikes from Jon puts Leo Rowly on the mat giving his back up. Jon Rogers peppers shot to the head of Leo looking for an opening to apply a rear naked choke but Leo is hand playing well. Leo slips out the back leading to both fighters standing up. Leo connects with a jab cross combination. Rogers fakes a takedown attempt and clinches with Leo Rowly. Round 5 is over.
