Round 1 "1st to 80" eats a stiff kick to the face. Rowly gets hit with a strong punch, putting him to the mat, but he recovers just in time to give up his back. Leo Rowly carefully protects himself from Berrys strikes. Leo is able to make it back to the standing position. Leo pushes away from Berry and lands a strong chopping kick to the lead leg. Leo Rowly just misses with a head kick, grazing Dennys skull. Denny winds up a heavy straight but is countered by a hard counter knee to the body. Round 1 is over.
Round 2 Leo Rowly lands a solid kick to the inside thigh of Berry. Leo strikes with a straight front kick. Leo keeps "1st to 80" at a distance with some well timed jabs. Leo parries Denny Berrys jab and connect with a cross. Denny lands a strong outside leg kick that is returned by Rowly. Both fighters move in to strike but miss their marks. As they jockey for position in the clinch Leo wins the momentum battle and falls into side control on top of Denny. The bell signals the end of round 2.
Round 3 Denny Berry shoots a takedown from a distance putting Rowly on the ground. Leo is caught off guard by a kneebar attempt from Berry. Leo struggles out of the lock and attempts to scramble. Berry is too quick and lunges forward to take half guard. Denny attempts to sink a neck crank from half guard. It does not appear to be tight enough as Rowly gives a thumbs up to the referee until he finally struggles out. Denny Berry presses his foot onto the thigh of Leo to get his own foot free. He successfully releases his leg and moves to side control. Denny Berry lands a few stiff elbows from side control. Leo gives his back up in an attempt to get out of side control. Round 3 is over.
Round 4 Leo Rowly lands a hook to the body then a straight cross to the sternum. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. "1st to 80" drops to a knee and attempts a takedown from the clinch. Leo Rowly sets a guillotine choke but "1st to 80" slips out at the last moment. "1st to 80" is now caught in guard. Rowly backs out of the guard after some unsuccessful motions and both fighters are standing. Rowly lands a left hook, only to follow up with a strong kick to the ribs. Denny is met with a strong kick to the ribs. "1st to 80" is met with a strong kick to the ribs. Round 4 is finished.
Round 5 Leo Rowly throws a push kick. Berry shucks it and strikes with a overhand that crashes into Rowlys nose.
Rowly performs and axe kick but Denny catches the leg as it comes down. Denny drives forward taking Rowly down to the ground. "1st to 80" tries to pass guard but Leo stops him with a well timed punch. Denny pushes down Leo Rowlys leg, allowing him to pass guard into half guard. Berry attempts to sink a neck crank from half guard. It does not appear to be tight enough as Leo Rowly gives a thumbs up to the referee until he finally struggles out. Berry slips out of half guard and into side control. Leo gives his back up in an attempt to get out of side control. Leo Rowly starts to wiggle out of back control, Berry lets him escape putting them both on their feet. Denny fires a haymaker but misses spinning himself around. Leo quickly takes his back. The bell signals the end of round 5.
