Round 1 Duane circles Yusupov, landing a front snap kick that stuns him. Baker just misses with a head kick, grazing Aliks skull. Both fighters trade glancing shots continuing to find their respective range. Alik Yusupov attempts to press in on Baker but is met with powerful inside-leg kicks. Duane snaps back the head of Alik Yusupov with a stiff jab. A welt begins to form under Aliks eye after a strong cross-hook landed from Duane. Round 1 is finished.
Round 2 Alik Yusupov throws a few jabs at Duane that miss the mark. Alik fakes a shot and lunges forward pressing Baker to the cage. Baker swims for underhooks but is taken down in the process. Baker works to butterfly guard. He shifts his weight to a side and bolsters to the stand up position. Both fighters trade glancing shots continuing to find their respective range. Alik Yusupov connects with a hard punch making Baker bring him in to a tight clinch. A strong elbow forces Duane Baker to lose his balance and fall to the floor. Alik stands over Duane Baker, works his way through his open guard and lands some solid standing punches. Duane Baker is able to grab an arm and pull Alik into his guard. Round 2 is finished.
Round 3 Alik Yusupov moves in to press the action, but Duane lands a heavy back kick. Duane Baker circles Alik Yusupov, landing jabs and crosses at will. Both fighters trade glancing shots continuing to find their respective range. Duane connects with a brutal kick to the liver of Yusupov who falls to the ground. Duane waves him back to his feet. Duane Baker is sent crashing to the mat by a powerful right hook.Round 3 comes to a close.
Round 4 After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Duane receieves numerous knees to the thighs from Alik. Duane Baker takes the back of Yusupov who works for a kimura. Duane Baker pulls his arm out of the hold and push Yusupov away. Duane lands a left hook, only to follow up with a strong kick to the ribs. Alik connects with a strong right hook. Baker is cornered by Alik who tries to press the action. Baker is able to block well and circles away from Alik, delivering a chopping leg kick and a grazing cross as he does so. Baker connects with a right that puts Alik Yusupov off balance tumbling to the mat, as Baker towers over him. Duane Baker lays into Yusupov with some stomps. Yusupov can't handle it as the ref stops the fight.
