Round 1 Stevens takes a heavy kick to the arm attempting to block his head. Ole Stevens lands a strong outside leg kick that is returned by James. James attempts a striking combination, but Stevens forces the clinch. Ole Stevens grabs the plum and pulls Jamess face towards a powerful knee which is blocked. Ole Stevens lets go of the hold and lands a hook. Richard is caught square on the jaw putting him to the canvas, Stevens prepares to pounce, but Richard gets his bearings just in time. Ole Stevens drops a huge strike to Richards chin, landing into his guard. Two strong elbows from Stevens dazes Richard. Stevens transitions into side control. Ole Stevens lands a few stiff elbows from side control. Richard is hit with a punch that has him dazed. He begins to cover as in a panic. The ref steps in and ends it.
