Round 1 Riggs Wright attempts a takedown, but Long clumsily falls down without much provocation. Wright drops a huge strike to "Sgt Majors" chin, landing into his guard. A strong chopping strike hits Riggs across the face. Riggs lands a series of return strikes. Riggs drops a few strong punches, opening up Berts guard, giving him a chance to pass to mount. Bert lands a good elbow as Riggs Wright lowers his torso. Bert Long gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Riggs attempts to lock in a rear naked choke, but "Sgt Major" rolls into to mount to cleverly avoid it. Wright secures his position. Round 1 comes to a close.
Round 2 Long lands a strong outside leg kick that is returned by Wright. Wright parries a jab but is caught by a strong leg kick. Riggs Wright fakes a takedown attempt and clinches with Long. Bert breaks away from the clinch while delivering a knee. Riggs Wright is hit with a hook and a shovel punch and stumbles backward. Long explodes forward with a push kick that puts Riggs Wright on the canvas. "Sgt Major" dances around Riggss legs and throws a hard kick to the body. Round 2 comes to a close.
Round 3 "Sgt Major" keeps Wright at a distance with some well timed jabs. Riggs Wright parries a jab but is caught by a strong leg kick. The fighters circle each other. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Wright receieves numerous knees to the thighs from Bert Long. A strong elbow forces Riggs Wright to lose his balance and fall to the floor. Long lays into Wrights thighs and then backs off and tells him to stand up. Wright does so. Round 3 is over.
