Round 1 Barry Thomas is staggered by a jab to the chin. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Round 2 Thomas fakes a takedown attempt and clinches with Bradley Patterson. Barry gets double underhooks, and unleashes unanswered knees to the midsection. Thomas decides to abandon the clinch by pulling guard and bringing Bradley Patterson with him. Thomas connects with some unorthodox punches from the bottom position. Round 3 Barry Thomas snaps back the head of Bradley with a stiff jab. Thomas keeps Patterson at a distance with some well timed jabs. Patterson throws a wild punch, putting him off balance. Bradley Patterson starts to wiggle out of back control, Thomas lets him escape putting them both on their feet. Bradley Patterson keeps Barry at a distance with some well timed jabs. Barry Thomas executes a single leg giving him the back of Patterson. Round 3 comes to a close.
