Round 1
Helge Vavilov catches a leg kick from Pavel, and puts him on the mat. Vavilov drops some good punches while being caught in the guard. Vavilov takes a risk going for a leglock from being caught in Pavel Maykovs guard. It doesn't pay off as Pavel Maykov makes his way to standing. Vavilov ducks and weaves through a quick combo from Maykov and knocks him back with a shovel punch to the jaw. Vavilov circles Maykov, landing jabs and crosses at will. Pavel shoots but Helge stuffs it, eventually working in a whizzer and landing some sharp knees that allows him to move to side mount. Helge drops some hammer fists on "Grapplers Paradise". A series of strong hammerfists forces Pavel to roll over, giving up his back. The round comes to an end.

Round 2
Helge Vavilov is staggered by a jab to the chin. Vavilov is staggered by a jab to the chin. Helge fakes a takedown attempt and clinches with Maykov. Helge attempts a takedown from the clinch, but Maykov pulls a switch on him, ultimately leading to both fighters on their feet. Pavel Maykov shoots a takedown from a distance putting Vavilov on the ground. "Grapplers Paradise" takes a risk going for a leglock from being caught in Vavilovs guard. It doesn't pay off as Vavilov makes his way to standing. Pavel Maykov narrowly dodges a cross from Helge Vavilov, but falls catching him in his guard. Pavel sets in an omaplata, forcing Vavilov to roll through, giving Pavel side control. Maykov lands a few stiff elbows from side control. Helge gives his back up in an attempt to get out of side control. The bell signals the end of round 2.

Round 3
Helge eats a jab,jab, then a hook from Maykov. Pavel Maykov sends Vavilov to the mat with a well timed jab, falling into his guard. Pavel attempts to set in a hammer lock from being caught in the guard. Helge Vavilov slips out of it at the last moment. Helge Vavilov sinks a deep kimura, but Pavel Maykov slides out. This gives Helge Vavilov the chance to switch to half guard. Maykov slams his knee into Helge Vavilovs ribs. Maykov slams his knee into Helges ribs. Pavel Maykov is able to slip into mount from the half guard. The round comes to an end.
