Round 1 After dodging a jab-cross, Randy Poulin lands a kick to the liver of "The Muscle Shark " who steps back and begins to take a knee. Randy Poulin rushes forward to capitalize but "The Muscle Shark " stands back up and is met by a strong cross-uppercut that again backs him up. "The Muscle Shark s" legs are wobbled by a strong hook to the temple then a shovel punch to the jaw. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Derrell Sherk recieves a strong elbow opening up the clinch. Randy Poulin circles Sherk, then lans a push kick that knocks him to the floor. Poulin lays into "The Muscle Shark s" thighs and then backs off and tells him to stand up. Derrell Sherk does so. Round 1 is over.
Round 2 Derrell Sherk takes a heavy kick to the arm attempting to block his head. "The Muscle Shark " is staggered by a jab to the chin. Randy circles Sherk, landing jabs at will. Randy Poulin connects with a series of punches forcing Sherk into a clinch. An attempt at a clinch takedown from Poulin is defended well by Derrell. Poulin grabs an overhook, steps to the side to land two haymaker body shots, then an uppercut. Poulin returns to the clinch. Randy connects with a stiff knee to the chin. Sherk is dazed on the mat. Randy lays into Derrell Sherks thighs with some well timed kicks while "The Muscle Shark " is grounded. Round 2 is over.
Round 3 After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Poulin lands a powerful knee to the face of Derrell. Randy breaks away from the clinch while delivering a knee. Derrell circles Randy, landing jabs at will. "The Muscle Shark " circles Randy, mixing jabs with body shots. Randy dodges a jab and throws a knee to the midsection of "The Muscle Shark ". Randy Poulin is met with a cross and a liver shot that staggers him. "The Muscle Shark " explodes with a flurry of punches. Randy Poulin is then thrown to the floor. Derrell Sherk attempts to drop a fist on Randy Poulin, but misses and lands in his guard. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
