Round 1 Phil connects with a series of punches forcing Fredek into a clinch. Fredek receieves numerous knees to the thighs from Phil Kelly. Phil dodges an uppercut to the chin, though loses his balance and falls to the ground, with Dmitriev standing over him. Fredek Dmitriev attempts to drop a fist on Kelly, but misses and lands in his guard. Kelly goes for a kimura from the bottom, but Fredek slips out at the last second. Dmitriev dodges a few strikes from Phil and cuts him open with a couple of powerful elbows. Fredek drops some good punches while being caught in the guard. Fredek Dmitriev loses his position, allowing Kelly to slip behind and lock in a rear naked choke. Fredek Dmitriev quickly taps out.
