Round 1 A double-leg shot is stuffed initially by Rodrigo, but Jack is able to muscle through for a takedown. Rodrigo gives up guard avoiding a powerful hammer fist. He now has half guard. Jack Patterson slams his knee into Cardosos ribs. Jack slips out of half guard and into side control. Patterson drops some hammer fists on Rodrigo Cardoso. Rodrigo almost switches side control around, but falls short at the last moment. The round comes to an end.
Round 2 Jack Patterson ducks and weaves through a quick combo from Rodrigo and knocks him back with a shovel punch to the jaw. Jack Patterson circles Cardoso, mixing jabs and leg kicks. Jack circles Rodrigo, landing jabs at will. Rodrigo Cardoso is staggered by a jab to the chin. Patterson snaps back the head of Rodrigo Cardoso with a stiff jab. Rodrigo Cardoso catches a leg kick from Jack, and puts him on the mat. Round 2 comes to a close.
Round 3 After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Jack Patterson throws a short elbow at Rodrigo Cardoso. Cardoso recieves a strong elbow opening up the clinch. Jack throws a cross that easily dodged by Cardoso. Jack circles Rodrigo, landing jabs and crosses at will. Patterson snaps back the head of Rodrigo with a stiff jab. Jack Patterson attempts a takedown, but Rodrigo Cardoso clumsily falls down without much provocation. Jack Patterson drops a powerful fist onto Rodrigo. Rodrigos eyes roll back into his head, and this fight is over.
