Round 1
A double-leg shot is stuffed initially by Derrell Cox, but Arvin is able to muscle through for a takedown. Arvin dodges a few strikes from Cox and cuts him over his eye with a axe-handle strike. Cox is starting to bleed over his left eye. Arvin Macapagal takes a risk going for a leglock from being caught in Derrell Coxs guard. It doesn't pay off as Cox makes his way to standing. Arvin Macapagal circles Derrell Cox, mixing jabs with body shots. Derrell takes a heavy kick to the arm attempting to block his head. An outside leg trip puts Arvin Macapagal into side control. Cox takes a few knees to the body while under Arvin Macapagals side control. Macapagal slides his knee across the body of Cox and takes full mount. Round 1 is finished.

Round 2
Macapagal circles Derrell Cox, landing jabs at will. Macapagal circles Derrell Cox, mixing jabs with body shots. Macapagal circles Cox, landing jabs and crosses at will. Macapagal snaps back the head of Derrell Cox with a stiff jab. Derrell is staggered by a jab to the chin. Derrell Cox circles Macapagal, mixing jabs with body shots.Round 2 comes to a close.

Round 3
Arvin eats a jab,jab, then a hook from Derrell. Arvin shoots in on Cox who sprawls well and lands multiple outside strikes. Arvin gives up on the shot and rolls to his guard. Arvin connects with some unorthodox punches from the bottom position. Derrell presses the action while in the guard, but Macapagal is able to switch him into mount. Arvin Macapagal throws some outside strikes at Derrell. Derrell Cox gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Round 3 is finished.
