Round 1
The fighters circle each other. A sloppy scooping ankle block is pulled of by Haakonsson. Anderson is able to pull him into his guard. Olav Haakonsson attempts to set in a hammer lock from being caught in the guard. "Iron Spider" slips out of it at the last moment. Anderson gives up guard avoiding a powerful hammer fist. He now has half guard. Haakonsson attempts to sink a neck crank from half guard. It does not appear to be tight enough as "Iron Spider" gives a thumbs up to the referee until he finally struggles out. "Iron Spider" tries to slip his leg out to get full guard, but is having difficulty. Haakonsson slips out of half guard and into side control. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.

Round 2
A welt begins to form under Olav Haakonssons eye after a strong cross-hook landed from Tyson Anderson. Haakonsson attempts a takedown but slips, and "Iron Spider" backs away. "Iron Spider" is standing over Haakonsson. "Iron Spider" lays into Haakonssons thighs and then backs off and tells him to stand up. "The Snowman" does so. "The Snowman" attempts a takedown but slips, and Tyson backs away. Tyson is standing over "The Snowman". Tyson Anderson attempts to drop a fist on Olav Haakonsson, but misses and lands in his guard. A strong chopping strike hits Tyson Anderson across the face. Tyson Anderson lands a series of return strikes. Olav Haakonsson throws his leg over for a tight armbar from the bottom. Tyson Anderson has to tap.
