Round 2 Joseph keeps Yoshihio at a distance with some well timed jabs. "Boogaloo" snaps back the head of Yoshihio with a stiff jab. "yoshi choshi" throws a wild punch, putting him off balance. A few well timed strikes from "Boogaloo" puts "yoshi choshi" on the mat giving his back up. Brennan tries to set in a rear naked choke, but can't quite finish it. Round 3 Choshi throws a cross that easily dodged by "Boogaloo". Yoshihio snaps back the head of Brennan with a stiff jab. Yoshihio Choshi fakes a takedown attempt and clinches with Joseph Brennan. Yoshihio Choshi attempts a takedown from the clinch, but Joseph Brennan pulls a switch on him, ultimately leading to both fighters on their feet. A sloppy scooping ankle block is pulled of by Joseph. Yoshihio Choshi is able to pull him into his guard. Yoshihio attempts a switch from the guard, but a scramble takes place getting both fighters to their feet. Joseph Brennan narrowly dodges a cross from "yoshi choshi", but falls catching him in his guard. "Boogaloo" sets in an omaplata, forcing "yoshi choshi" to roll through, giving "Boogaloo" side control. Yoshihio takes a few knees to the body while under "Boogaloos" side control. A series of strong hammerfists forces Yoshihio to try and roll toward Brennan. Brennan lands a devastating shovel punch that roll Yoshihio to his back. Brennan scrambles to his back. The bell signals the end of round 3.
Round 4 Joseph lands a double jab. "yoshi choshi" connects with a right that puts "Boogaloo" off balance tumbling to the mat, as "yoshi choshi" towers over him. Choshi throws a short kick to the downed Joseph Brennan. Joseph Brennan takes the chance to rise back to his feet. Choshi connects with a right that puts Brennan off balance tumbling to the mat, as Choshi towers over him. "yoshi choshi" attempts to drop a fist on Joseph Brennan, but misses and lands in his guard. Yoshihio tries to move to half guard but "Boogaloo" uses the opportunity to land several strikes and return to full guard. "Boogaloo" pulls "yoshi choshi" close and connects with a few heel strikes to the back. The bell signals the end of round 4.
Round 5 The fighters circle each other. A welt begins to form under Yoshihio Choshis eye after a strong cross-hook landed from Joseph. Brennan snaps back the head of Yoshihio with a stiff jab. Joseph Brennan fakes a takedown attempt and clinches with Choshi. The bell signals the end of round 5.
