Round 1
Ruy Cardenas narrowly dodges a cross from Rogers, but falls catching him in his guard. Nicholas Rogers knocks the wind out of Ruy Cardenas with a strong elbow strike to the abdomen. "speed pwr" attempts to pass Ruy Cardenass guard, and does so, but receives multiple strikes in the attempt. Ruy gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Ruy Cardenas carefully protects himself from Nicholass strikes. Cardenas starts to wiggle out of back control, Rogers lets him escape putting them both on their feet. Ruy connects with a series of punches forcing Rogers into a clinch. "speed pwr" works Cardenas into the cage from the clinch. "speed pwr" presses his head under Ruy Cardenass chin so he cannot defend the piston shots from either side. "speed pwr" takes the back of Ruy who works for a kimura. "speed pwr" pulls his arm out of the hold and push Ruy away. Ruy throws a kick to the midsection that is caught by Rogers. Rogers lands a sweeping leg kick that puts Ruy on his back. "speed pwr" hovers over Ruy pushing his legs to the side and throwing punches down at his body and head. "speed pwr" throws the leg aside and takes side control. The round comes to an end.

Round 2
Rogers connects with a leg kick then a hook to the side of the head. Nicholas misses with an axe kick that has Ruy Cardenas back up. Nicholas drops his hands and motions for Cardenas to try and hit him. "speed pwr" connects with a sweeping kick at the leg of Ruy. Cardenas keeps Rogers at a distance with some well timed jabs. Ruy connects with a hard jab as Rogers attempts a wide outside hook. Rogers lands a strong outside leg kick of Ruy Cardenas that buckles him. Rogers then switch kicks Ruy Cardenas in the skull, knocking him to the floor.
