Round 1 Requiao connects with numerous jabs to the face of Cannon. Santiago Requiao lands a double jab. Santiago Requiao throws a hard leg kick but is checked by Jean. A jab from Cannon is blocked and a cross is returned by Requiao. Santiago ducks under a loopy hoop, taking Jean Cannon to the mat, and his back. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
Round 2 Santiago is caught square on the jaw putting him to the canvas, Jean Cannon prepares to pounce, but Santiago gets his bearings just in time. Jean Cannon attempts to drop a fist on Requiao, but misses and lands in his guard. Requiao begins to posture on his side. Jean lands a couple of outside hooks and Requiao returns to the guard. Requiao attempts to create some space from his guard, but Jean Cannon sees the opening and passes to full mount. Jean secures his position. Santiago Requiao gets pummeled by the fists of Cannon. Santiago Requiao gives up his back in an attempt to escape, but doesn't quite make it. Cannon lays into Requiao with some strong shots forcing Requiao to give up mount position. Jean postures up and begins to fire off rapid shots from mount but Santiago Requiao tripods up and sweeps him over to his back. Santiago Requiao quickly gets himself to mount. Round 2 comes to a close.
Round 3 Jean connects with a right that puts Santiago off balance tumbling to the mat, as Jean towers over him. Jean Cannon drops a huge strike to Requiaos chin, landing into his guard. Santiago is hit with a series of powerful punches while utilizing the guard. Cannon takes advantage of a mental laps from Requiao and moves into full mount. Cannon maintains mount but laying some well timed strikes. Santiago gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Jean begins to look for a rear naked choke, but Santiago rolls to being mounted instead. Requiao gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Round 3 is over.
