Round 1 "The Ice Queen" lands a hook to the body then a straight cross to the sternum. Bristol Montgomery attempts to clinch, but Vilborg connects with an uppercut to the jaw. Bristol winds up a heavy straight but is countered by a hard counter knee to the body. "The Ice Queen" tries to hyperextend the knee of Bristol Montgomery with a kick to the kneecap. Bristol Montgomery hops back to avoid it. Bristol Montgomery shoots for a single leg but "The Ice Queen" is able to hop away, defending well. Bristol Montgomery takes the opportunity to execute a double-ankle pick and work to half guard.Round 1 comes to a close.
Round 2 Vilborg Eliasson connects with a leg kick then a hook to the side of the head. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. The fighters jockey for position in the clinch. "The Ice Queen" works Bristol Montgomery into the cage from the clinch. "The Ice Queen" presses his head under Bristol Montgomerys chin so he cannot defend the piston shots from either side. Vilborg Eliasson escapes the clinch and creates some distance. Both fighters begin to exchange Vilborg catches Bristol Montgomery with an eye poke. The referee calls time and lets Bristol Montgomery gather himself. Bristol Montgomery says he is ok and the fight continues. Vilborg Eliasson connects with a strong right hook. Vilborg Eliasson hits a hook to the body and follows with a power straight that misses. Vilborg Eliasson attempts to press in on Bristol Montgomery but is met with powerful inside-leg kicks.Round 2 comes to a close.
Round 3 A wild hook from "The Ice Queen" is ducked by Montgomery who lands a cross-hook to the body before backing away. "The Taekwon Ho" eats a stiff kick to the face. Vilborg Eliasson pushes away from Montgomery and lands a strong chopping kick to the lead leg. After dodging a jab-cross, Vilborg lands a kick to the liver of Montgomery who steps back and begins to take a knee. Vilborg rushes forward to capitalize but Montgomery stands back up and is met by a strong cross-uppercut that again backs him up. Montgomery eats a stiff kick to the face. "The Ice Queen" hits a hard jab but misses with the follow up straight. Bristol circles away from Vilborg, landing strong kicks to the lead leg.Round 3 comes to a close.
Round 4 "The Ice Queen" connects with a hard punch making Montgomery bring him in to a tight clinch. "The Ice Queen" works to Montgomerys back while standing. "The Ice Queen" throws a couple of outside shots until Bristol Montgomery is able to work his way back to the clinch. Bristol takes the back of Vilborg who works for a kimura. Bristol pulls his arm out of the hold and push Vilborg away. Bristol Montgomery dodges a jab and throws a kick to the midsection of Eliasson. Montgomery just misses with a head kick, grazing "The Ice Queens" skull. Eliasson is struck by some looping punches and kicks and goes for the clinch to shorten the distance. "The Taekwon Ho" welcomes the clinch landing a lead knee and a powerful elbow. Then pushes Eliasson back to striking distance. Round 4 is finished.
Round 5 "The Taekwon Ho" throws a hard leg kick but is checked by Eliasson. Bristol connects with a hard punch making Vilborg bring him in to a tight clinch. Bristol lands a knee to the chest of Eliasson, putting them both off balance and to the floor. Vilborg Eliasson attempts a switch from the guard, but a scramble takes place getting both fighters to their feet. Bristol Montgomery lowers his hands to block a body kick, but Eliasson switches to a high kick and rattles the jaw of Bristol Montgomery.
Bristol Montgomery lands a jab, but it is returned by a sick uppercut from "The Ice Queen". Both fighters trade glancing shots continuing to find their respective range. The bell signals the end of round 5.
