Round 1 After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. The fighters jockey for position in the clinch. Filippa Knutson breaks away from the clinch while delivering a knee. Knutson tries to hyperextend the knee of Nancy Salinas with a kick to the kneecap. Nancy Salinas hops back to avoid it. The fighters circle one another hopping in and out trying to find their range. Salinas hits an uppercut to the head of Filippa Knutson followed by a hard hook. Knutson attempts a takedown, but Nancy clumsily falls down without much provocation. Filippa lays into Nancy Salinass thighs with some well timed kicks while Nancy Salinas is grounded. Round 1 comes to a close.
Round 2 Salinas connects with a jab cross combination. Knutson fakes a shot and lunges forward pressing Nancy to the cage. Nancy swims for underhooks but is taken down in the process. Filippa pulls out of the guard of Nancy, stands up, feels it out, and drops a huge right hand to the jaw of Nancy. A kimura attempt from Nancy is countered by a punch from Filippa Knutson, who then transitions to half guard. Filippa slams his knee into Nancy Salinass ribs. Filippa Knutson slams his knee into Nancy Salinass ribs. Filippa Knutson slams his knee into Nancy Salinass ribs. Round 2 comes to a close.
Round 3 Filippa connects with a hard punch making Salinas bring him in to a tight clinch. A stiff elbow looks to have Salinas dazed. Nancy Salinas takes Filippas back standing, but Filippa Knutson isolates an arm and locks a spinning kimura but Nancy Salinas squirms out and both fighters end up standing. Nancy attempts a takedown but slips, and Filippa Knutson backs away. Filippa Knutson is standing over Nancy. Filippa stands over Salinas, works his way through his open guard and lands some solid standing punches. Salinas is able to grab an arm and pull Filippa into his guard. Filippa stands up with Nancy Salinas still holding guard. As Nancy Salinas releases his guard Filippa spins to a kneebar but it is too shallow. Filippa takes couple of shots to the head. The fighters scramble to standing position. A sloppy scooping ankle block is pulled of by Filippa. Nancy Salinas is able to pull him into his guard. A strong chopping strike hits Filippa across the face. Filippa lands a series of return strikes. Knutson takes a risk going for a leglock from being caught in Salinass guard. It doesn't pay off as Salinas makes his way to standing. Round 3 is over.
Round 4 Filippa Knutson tries to stop a shot with a punch but Nancy Salinas plows through Knutsons attempt and ends up in guard. Nancy Salinas pushes down Filippas leg, allowing him to pass guard into half guard. Nancy Salinas hits Knutson with some punches to the side of the head. Filippa Knutson snatches a kimura lock but Salinas spins around quickly to the other side holding dominant side control. Nancy Salinas wraps the arm of Knutson behind his back and traps it. Nancy Salinas pounds away with shots to the face. Knutson sneaks a leg back under the body of Nancy Salinas to achieve a defensive half guard. Knutson tries to scramble out of half guard, but Nancy Salinas takes his back during it. Filippa tries to explode out the backdoor but Nancy sinks in both hooks, continually landing outside strikes. Filippa falls flat to protect himself. Filippa tries to escape out the back but Nancy locks a crucifix, rolling Filippa to his back. Filippa is unable to defend against Nancy Salinass elbow strikes from the crucifix and he is knocked out cold.
