Round 1 Brianna Roberts is caught with a double leg takedown, forcing her to give side control. Kazumi slides her knee across the body of Roberts and takes full mount. Kazumi punishes Brianna Roberts with a series of strikes from the mount. Roberts gives her back up trying to escape the mount. Kazumi peppers shot to the head of Brianna Roberts looking for an opening to apply a rear naked choke but Brianna Roberts is hand playing well. Kazumi works her arm around the neck of Brianna attempting to get a tight rear naked choke but Brianna hand fights well. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
Round 2 Brianna blocks a tight hook from Kazumi and counters with a shovel punch and cross that has Kazumi stumbling backwards. Brianna stalks her across the canvas. Kazumi Asuhara narrowly dodges a cross from Roberts, but falls catching her in her guard. Roberts backs out of the guard, and chooses to stand with her opponent, allowing her to her feet. Brianna Roberts connects with 1-2 jab hook combo and quickly steps away. Kazumi Asuhara hunts down her opponent and throws 2 heavy haymakers that get nothing but air. Brianna connects with a hard punch making Kazumi bring her in to a tight clinch. Kazumi dodges an uppercut to the chin, though loses her balance and falls to the ground, with Brianna standing over her. Roberts throws a short kick to the downed Asuhara. Asuhara takes the chance to rise back to her feet. Round 2 comes to a close.
Round 3 Kazumi hits a hard jab but misses with the follow up straight. Brianna Roberts connects with a jab cross combination. Roberts is staggered by a jab to the chin. Both fighters begin to exchange Roberts catches Kazumi with an eye poke. The referee calls time and lets Kazumi gather herself. Kazumi says she is ok and the fight continues. Kazumi Asuhara connects with a leg kick then a hook to the side of the head. Kazumi hits a lead uppercut and follows with a hard hook to the head of Brianna. The round comes to an end.
