Round 1
Hotaka connects with a combination and backs away from the counter combo of Alfred. "LW Triathlete" dives in for a takedown but the momentum of the attempt ends in a scramble back to their feet. Hirota connects with a combination and backs away from the counter combo of Lund. "LW Triathlete" connects with a leg kick then a hook to the side of the head. "LW Triathlete" snaps back the head of Alfred Lund with a stiff jab. "LW Triathlete" fakes a takedown attempt and clinches with Alfred Lund. Round 1 comes to a close.

Round 2
Alfred Lund connects with a leg kick then a hook to the side of the head. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Alfred Lund attempts to grab the plum but is tripped to the floor by Hirota who lands in his guard. Hotaka Hirota takes a risk going for a leglock from being caught in Alfreds guard. It doesn't pay off as Alfred makes his way to standing. A trip to the ground allows Lund to move into the guard of Hotaka Hirota. Hirota lands a stiff elbow while on his back. "LW Triathlete" attempts to lock an omoplata, but Alfred Lund is able to muscle his way back to the guard. Hotaka Hirota is able to use the butterfly guard to land some short punches then push Lund up to standing. The round comes to an end.

Round 3
Lund hits a hook to the body and follows with a power straight that misses. Hirota narrowly dodges a cross from Alfred Lund, but falls catching him in his guard. Hirota sinks a deep kimura, but Alfred Lund slides out. This gives Hirota the chance to switch to half guard. Hirota gets to his knees. Alfred successfully grabs a strong overhook but Hirota grabs his opponents wrist and uses a mini kimura lock to sweep Alfred over to his back. Hirota gets to side control. Alfred Lund sweeps over Hotaka Hirota and quickly obtains mount position. Alfred is pulled in tight, and then switched over on his back. "LW Triathlete" is now caught in Alfreds guard. Alfred Lund sinks a deep kimura, but Hirota slides out. This gives Alfred Lund the chance to switch to half guard. "LW Triathlete" is able to slip into mount from the half guard. Alfred arches his body up to buck off Hirota from mount. A scramble takes place leading to both fighters back to their feet. "LW Triathlete" attempts a takedown, but cannot finish it. Alfred Lund takes advantage of the moment taking side control. Round 3 comes to a close.
