Round 1 Konstantinos connects with a hard jab as Craig attempts a wide outside hook. A couple of powerful body shots forces Konstantinos Laskaris back to the cage. Craig Dean swims to double underhooks. Konstantinos Laskaris cannot stop Craig Dean from stepping back and taking him to the floor. Konstantinos Laskaris is hit with a series of powerful punches while utilizing the guard. An heel strike attempt is dodged by Craig Dean and he traps Konstantinos Laskariss extended leg to move to half guard. Konstantinos holds the head of Dean close to avoid shots. Dean slams shots to his opponents ribs and throws hard elbows to the thighs. Craig Dean presses his foot onto the thigh of Laskaris to get his own foot free. He successfully releases his leg and moves to side control. Konstantinos gives his back up in an attempt to get out of side control. Laskaris slips out the back leading to both fighters standing up. Laskaris throws a flurry connecting with the final punch. Dean is rocked and stumbles to the ground but quickly shakes it off.Round 1 comes to a close.
Round 2 A welt begins to form under Konstantinos Laskariss eye after a strong cross-hook landed from Dean. Craig fakes a takedown attempt and clinches with Laskaris. Konstantinos Laskaris decides to abandon the clinch by pulling guard and bringing Craig Dean with him. Laskaris attempts an omoplata and almost has it sunk but Dean is able to survive any major damage. Laskaris cannot finish the hold and decides to stand up. A trip to the ground allows Laskaris to move into the guard of Craig. Craig Dean goes for a kimura from the bottom, but Laskaris slips out at the last second. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
Round 3 Both fighters begin to exchange Dean catches Konstantinos Laskaris with an eye poke. The referee calls time and lets Konstantinos Laskaris gather himself. Konstantinos Laskaris says he is ok and the fight continues. Dean fakes a takedown attempt and clinches with Konstantinos. Craig drops down and thrusts forward with a textbook double leg takedown. Craig takes a risk going for a leglock from being caught in Laskariss guard. It doesn't pay off as Konstantinos Laskaris makes his way to standing. Dean narrowly dodges a cross from Konstantinos Laskaris, but falls catching him in his guard. Craig connects with some unorthodox punches from the bottom position. Craig Dean begins to posture on his side. Konstantinos lands a couple of outside hooks and Craig Dean returns to the guard. Dean attempts to create some space from his guard, but Konstantinos Laskaris sees the opening and passes to full mount. Round 3 comes to a close.
