Round 1 Da Mi Cheon presses forward and grazes April with a combo. April wants none of the stand up and clinches with Da Mi Cheon to then savagely throw her down to the ground. April Erickson stands over Da Mi, works her way through her open guard and lands some solid standing punches. Da Mi is able to grab an arm and pull April Erickson into her guard. Da Mi Cheon is pummeled by some well timed bombs from April. April Erickson passes through Da Mis guard into mount. Cheon shifts her head and hips to keep April off balance and unable to land strikes. "WFLy Triathlete" gives her back up trying to escape the mount. Erickson begins to look for a rear naked choke, but "WFLy Triathlete" rolls to being mounted instead. Erickson punishes Cheon with a series of strikes from the mount. Round 1 comes to a close.
Round 2 April connects with jab cross combination. Da Mi narrowly dodges a cross from April, but falls catching her in her guard. Da Mi Cheon is pummeled by some well timed bombs from Erickson. Erickson eats a stiff punch to the face, and is then switched, giving Cheon full mount. April shifts her head and hips to keep Da Mi off balance and unable to land strikes. "WFLy Triathlete" punishes Erickson with a series of strikes from the mount. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
Round 3 "WFLy Triathlete" connects with a series of punches forcing April Erickson into a clinch. The fighters jockey for position in the clinch. April attempts a takedown from the clinch, but Cheon pulls a switch on her, ultimately leading to both fighters on their feet. A trip to the ground allows April to move into the guard of Da Mi Cheon. Da Mi Cheon starts to lock a triangle. Erickson postures up and Erickson settles for a few stiff chops to Da Mi Cheons face. Da Mi starts to lock a triangle. Erickson postures up and starts to stand up. Da Mi lands a stiff upkick, slumping Erickson back into her guard. "WFLy Triathlete" goes for a kimura from the bottom, but April slips out at the last second. Da Mi pulls April close and connects with a few heel strikes to the back. Round 3 comes to a close.
