Round 1 Dante Biek connects with a strong body shot combo. Dante winds up a heavy straight but is countered by a hard counter knee to the body. Dante tries to hyperextend the knee of Juan Rojas with a kick to the kneecap. Juan Rojas hops back to avoid it. "The Dark Horse" loses his balance from a well timed strike, and is awkwardly taken down by Juan Rojas for the mistake. Juan Rojas has side control. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
Round 2 Biek lands a double jab. Juan Rojas connects with jab cross combination. Biek throws a flurry connecting with the final punch. Juan Rojas is rocked and stumbles to the ground but quickly shakes it off. Rojas peppers Biek with a flurry of punches that cannot be kept up with. Both fighters begin to exchange Juan Rojas catches Biek with an eye poke. The referee calls time and lets Biek gather himself. Biek says he is ok and the fight continues. Biek hits an uppercut to the head of Juan followed by a hard hook. Both fighters move in to strike but miss their marks. As they jockey for position in the clinch Rojas wins the momentum battle and falls into side control on top of Dante. The round comes to an end.
Round 3 Rojas traps Biek in the cage, landing a few strong punches to the face and body. Rojas is on the receiving end of a good punching combination from "The Dark Horse". Juan Rojas pummels Biek with a series of rapid fire fists. A jab-hook-uppercut combo has Dante stepping back and shaking the cobwebs out. "The Dark Horse" is dizzied on his feet from a furious punching sequence from Rojas. A jab from Biek is blocked and a cross is returned by Juan Rojas. Rojas eats a jab,jab, then a hook from "The Dark Horse". Rojas circles Biek, mixing jabs with body shots. Biek eats a jab,jab, then a hook from Juan. Dante gets hit with a strong punch, putting him to the mat, but he recovers just in time to give up his back.Round 3 comes to a close.
