Round 1 The fighters advance aggressively to center canvas, deciding not to touch gloves. McCarthy connects with numerous jabs to the face of "Bombardier". Lombardi connects with a series of punches forcing Buff into a clinch. Lombardi lands a powerful uppercut in the clinch. Lombardi is jockeying for position in the clinch. Buff McCarthy lands a powerful uppercut in the clinch. Mauricio has double underhooks, locks across the body, and takes "Mufasa " down to the mat, landing in great side control. The round comes to an end.
Round 2 Both fighters trade shots and back away looking for the next opening. A trip to the ground allows Lombardi to move into the guard of McCarthy. Buff connects with some unorthodox punches from the bottom position. Lombardi presses the action while in the guard, but McCarthy is able to switch him into mount. Buff maintains mount but laying some well timed strikes. Lombardi attempts to escape mount but has no luck. The round comes to an end.
Round 3 "Mufasa " stuffs a shot from Lombardi and lands several shots to his body. Lombardi attempts to pull guard but "Mufasa " makes it to side mount. "Mufasa " slides his knee across the body of Lombardi and takes full mount. Buff McCarthy secures his position. Lombardi gives his back up trying to escape the mount. "Mufasa " slides to the side and spanks the butt of Mauricio in a sign of disrespect. The crowd laughs uncontrollably. "Mufasa " peppers Lombardi from his back. Lombardi rolls over but "Mufasa " has both hooks. He works for an RNC but Lombardi defends well. Round 3 is over.
