Round 1 The fighters advance and touch gloves. Fortunato connects with a hard punch making Usman bring him in to a tight clinch. Fortunato Huerta places a few punches to the ribs while tied up. Fortunato Huerta attempts to pull guard, but slips, putting him on the ground, and with Usman Mullagori standing over him. Usman Mullagori attempts to drop a fist on Huerta, but misses and lands in his guard. Huerta goes for a kimura from the bottom, but Usman slips out at the last second. Fortunato Huerta gets his arm underneath the neck of Usman Mullagori while putting his opposite arm on the back of the head. Usman Mullagori powers out of the attempted choke. Fortunato Huerta connects with some unorthodox punches from the bottom position. Fortunato sets in an omaplata, forcing "Kamaru" to roll through, giving Fortunato side control. Round 1 is over.
Round 2 Usman Mullagori connects with a combination and backs away from the counter combo of Fortunato. Mullagori hits a lead uppercut and follows with a hard hook to the head of Fortunato. "Kamaru" connects with a hard punch making Huerta bring him in to a tight clinch. Usman Mullagori takes the back of Fortunato who works for a kimura. Usman Mullagori pulls his arm out of the hold and push Fortunato away. "el abarcar" presses forward and is able to jump up and grab onto Mullagori, aggressively pulling guard. Usman sits up in Fortunatos open guard and spins to an leg lock. Huerta is able to gator-roll out of it and make it to standing. A single-leg attempt is well defended by Usman Mullagori. "el abarcar" stands up, lifting the leg of Usman Mullagori and executing a trip takedown. Usman Mullagori powers out sweeping Fortunato Huerta with pure strength. Usman Mullagori is now in side control. "Kamaru" attempts to mount, but gets a few punches from Fortunato for his troubles. Usman Mullagori puts his knee on the belly of Fortunato Huerta. Fortunato Huerta punches up and Usman Mullagori falls back with an armbar. Fortunato Huerta taps out.
