MMArmy is an online mixed martial arts game pitting players strategic knowledges against each other. Players create their own camp (team) of fighters and train them for competition. After time and effort the fighters can even become champions of their respective leagues.

Founding of MMArmy

The idea of MMArmy has existed for many years and in various forms, though actual production of the game didn't begin until June 2007. What originally started as a single player endeavor soon evolved into the multiplayer mayhem many people have come to enjoy. When it came time for the official game release (January 13, 2008) it was a smash hit. The MMA world, still in its respective infancy, had yet to see anything like it.

The Company

MMArmy is owned an operated by Speak Before You Think LLC. The company itself isn't a big one. It is founded by two childhood friends (Jordan Hart, and Rick Wiltsie) who decided they wanted to do what made them happy for a living. After many years of discussion and possibilities, the company was officially formed in Febuary 2008. The name is based on a quote from E.M. Forster, "Think before you speak is criticism's motto; speak before you think is creation's". The idea being that the only bad idea is the one that never got a chance to grow.
