I'm proud to announce that our company (Speak Before You Think) has officially released a new MMA content site called Authority Fight Sports (AuthorityFS.com).

Here is the "official" about us...

"Authority Fight Sport is your premiere source for Mixed Martial Arts news, opinions and interaction. We provide accurate, breaking, comprehensive news coverage of the sport of MMA. AuthorityFS is the MMA fan's home for discussion, analysis and community driven applications such as rankings and blogs."

The thing that I think you, the MMArmy user, will find interesting is the line "community driven applications". AuthorityFS has a system in place that takes all author and member rankings and compiles them into a single ranking list for the month. It also keeps all historic rankings, so that in a years time we can look back and see how the rankings have changed.

There are also user blogs, where a member can post his own articles and display them to the world.

A user can display his MMA profile to the world showing them their blogs, rankings, and other general preferences. (for an example... here's mine http://authorityfs.com/profile.php?id=1)

As the site grows we plan to add other interactive applications, and expand the profiles.

I want to thank everyone who's made MMArmy the success it has become, and I'm hopeful that you guys will give AuthorityFS the same oppurtunity you gave this game.

I've just added several new tattoos into the game. A special thanks to Chachi from the forums for these. He put in some hard work, especially with the Tiger sleeve tattoo. That thing is wicked.

I've also added a pair of fight shorts, and long tights that feature the Fleur-de-lis. So I will patiently wait for the Georges St. Pierre rip offs.

We just finished up work on the new forum software and I really think we've got something everyone is going to enjoy.

If you haven't signed up for the forum yet, now is the best jumping on point you could hope for. With the new chat-like "shout box" you're even able to easily communicate with fellow players.

Hey Gang, I wanted to pass along something our forum members pointed out they saw over at the sherdog forums. Sometime back one of our players was shot... in the stomach... with a shotgun. Yeah, apparently he's made of adantium cause he's doing good now.

Though he's safe, we all know how those medical bills can be a bitch. A clothing company has created a shirt with all the proceeds going to the hospital. Click Here to take a look, and possibly contribute. Not only is it a cool shirt, it's also for a pretty cool guy.

Recently in the forums I posted instructions on how to make items for the game. Sure enough I received some great submissions from it. The one I'd like to mention today comes from tallkid in the forums. He took the liberty to make hair and facial hair for Kimbo Slice. So in honor of the coming fight this saturday, I added it to the game.

Though it doesn't stop there as it inspired me to add some more physiques and hairs into the game as well. So everyone hop to the forums and give tallkid a big thank you for his additions to the fighter customize screen.
