Round 1 Baker fires a haymaker but misses spinning himself around. Enrique Perez quickly takes his back. Enrique executes a double hand slap to the ears of Duane Baker. Duane starts to wiggle out of back control, Perez lets him escape putting them both on their feet. Enrique executes a beautiful double leg takedown, putting Duane to the mat, and Enrique into side control. Enrique slides his knee across the body of Duane and takes full mount. Baker lands a good elbow as Enrique lowers his torso. Enrique secures his position. Round 1 comes to a close.
Round 2 Duane connects with a hard punch making Enrique bring him in to a tight clinch. Perez works Duane into the cage from the clinch. Perez presses his head under Bakers chin so he cannot defend the piston shots from either side. Baker grabs the plum and pulls Enrique Perezs face towards a powerful knee which is blocked. Baker lets go of the hold and lands a hook. The fighters circle one another hopping in and out trying to find their range. Duane throws a hard leg kick but is checked by Perez. Duane Baker is hit with two hard punches to his face. Duane Baker laughs off the punches. Duane Baker connects with a right that puts Perez off balance tumbling to the mat, as Duane Baker towers over him. Duane grabs a foot and kicks at Perezs thighs. He then backs off and Enrique Perez stands back up. Round 2 is over.
Round 3 Enrique throws a few jabs at Duane Baker that miss the mark. Perez connects with a combination and backs away from the counter combo of Duane. Baker hits a hook to the body and follows with a power straight that misses. Enrique Perez executes a single leg giving him the back of Duane. Duane tries to explode out the backdoor but Enrique sinks in both hooks, continually landing outside strikes. Duane falls flat to protect himself. Perez lands undefended strikes to the side of Duane Bakers head. The ref stops the fight.
