Round 1

Olav telegraphs his motions for an armbar, but Tomas Ramirez gives up his back to stop the attempt. Ramirez starts to wiggle out of back control, Olav Haakonsson lets him escape putting them both on their feet. "The Snowman" fakes a shot and lunges forward pressing Tomas Ramirez to the cage. Tomas Ramirez swims for underhooks but is taken down in the process. "The Snowman" distracts Tomas with peppering shots. "The Snowman" then isolates a leg and sinks a achilles lock. Tomas is able to force his way out but gives up mount in the ensuing scramble. Tomas gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Ramirez carefully protects himself from "The Snowmans" strikes. Tomas Ramirez slips out the back leading to both fighters standing up. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.

Round 3
Both fighters begin to exchange Tomas Ramirez catches Olav Haakonsson with an eye poke. The referee calls time and lets Olav Haakonsson gather himself. Olav Haakonsson says he is ok and the fight continues. Tomas keeps Olav at a distance with some well timed jabs. Tomas connects with numerous jabs to the face of Haakonsson. Olav Haakonsson attempts a striking combination, but Tomas Ramirez forces the clinch. Tomas Ramirez is able to work to two overhooks and lands some strong knees and short hooks. Ramirez connects a few knees to the upper torso of "The Snowman". Ramirez lands a powerful uppercut in the clinch. Tomas Ramirez takes Olavs back standing. Olav isolates an arm to lock a spinning kimura but Tomas Ramirez lands a sharp shovel punch that forces Olav to release. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.

Haakonsson hits an uppercut to the head of Tomas followed by a hard hook. Both fighters begin to exchange Tomas catches Olav Haakonsson with an eye poke. The referee calls time and lets Olav Haakonsson gather himself. Olav Haakonsson says he is ok and the fight continues. "The Snowman" executes a single leg giving him the back of Tomas. Ramirez tries to hyperextend the knee of Olav with a kick to the kneecap. Olav hops back to avoid it. Haakonsson fires a haymaker but misses spinning himself around. Ramirez quickly takes his back. Round 5
Both fighters trade shots and back away looking for the next opening. Olav Haakonsson attempts a striking combination, but Tomas Ramirez forces the clinch. Tomas Ramirez grabs the plum and lands a strong elbow that cuts Olav under the eye. Haakonsson ducks under to the back of Tomas and hops up getting both hooks in. Haakonsson applies a deep choke. Tomas fights off the hands and spins around back into the clinch. Olav receives a couple of stiff short hooks in the clinch. "The Snowman" absorbs several body shots while being tied up. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
